A: Hi Susanna, thank you for your question. The Echo Spot will be able to sync with your other echo devices to play continuous music right after setup! Open your Alexa app, select devices, select the plus sign on the top right and add device, amazon echo, and then select Echo Spot. Afterwards, you can set up Multi-room music on your Alexa app by tapping the lightbulb icon at the bottom, Open Devices, Select Plus and then select Combine Speakers, Select Multi-Room Music. A: Hi Tinafizz, great question! Yes, the Echo Spot (2024) can still use the original Alexa — you are not locked into Alexa+. While Amazon has been rolling out Alexa+ (their newer AI-powered assistant) to Prime members, the classic Alexa experience remains available on your device. If your Echo Spot gets upgraded to Alexa+ and you'd prefer to go back, you can simply say "Alexa, exit Alexa Plus" and it will revert to the original Alexa. You can also switch back to the classic Alexa voice if the new default voice isn't to your liking. The core Alexa features you're used to — setting alarms, playing music, controlling smart home devices, checking the weather, and more — all continue to work with the original Alexa. It's worth noting that Alexa+ is included free with an Amazon Prime membership, so if you ever want to try it out, you can always switch back and forth. Hope that helps!
