Q: Does this airfrayer contain Teflon/PTFE or other PFAS related materials?

submitted by Dan - 11 months ago

    BUYER BEWARE!!!!

It was a total nightmare! It immediately started overheating, smoking and burning up minutes after I turned it on. The fan and motor didn't seem to be operating properly. It must have been damaged and it melted down the motor and wiring when I started to cook in it. I barely had enough time to unplug it before it almost caught my kitchen on fire. I don't know if this was defective or a damaged returned item. I don't want to believe that the Target warehouse intentionally sent this to me instead of a brand new one that I purchased. The original packaging it was shipped in looked worse for wear. It looked like it had been opened and poorly taped back up. I should have refused this item as it was being delivered. Regardless, I won't be buying any more air fryers or kitchen electrics from Target online again.

    Only worked for one week

I purchased the PowerXL Vortex Pro Airfyer and had it for 10 days when it stopped working. I used it maybe 4 times! I pulled out the basket to add food and when I placed the basket back in the power button didn’t illuminate again or allow me to use. I tried multiple plugs, pulled the basket out multiple times to restart, even checked online to see if there was a hard reset or something else to do and nothing worked. Really wanted this to work. Called the manufacturer and because it was within the return window at Target I have to fully return, they wouldn’t offer a replacement.
