I’m going to be generous and give this 3 stars. Nice ice… but the machine dies not store ice! There is no insulator! You have to remove the ice as soon as it’s make. Would not buy again!

I bought this ice maker hoping it would let me enjoy having nugget ice more often. The design is sleek and it fits nicely under a higher countertop, which I really liked. However, the ice production was slow, and because it doesn’t have an internal cooling system, the ice melts quickly if you don’t use it right away. That was a big downside for me. It also didn't provide that much ice. In my opinion, this would be a decent product if it were priced around $75. Unfortunately, I paid about $200 for it, and it just doesn’t feel worth that price. To make matters worse, I didn’t save the box, so I can’t return it. Now I’m stuck with a $200 purchase that didn’t meet my expectations.

Great ice!
This makes the best ice! It does take a long time to make ice so it is not good for a lot of people. I make a couple of gallon bags full and use it throughout the week. It is loud and I don’t like that but I have an open kitchen so I hear it in the living area. It will make screeching sounds occasionally and that makes me think it is going to quit working but it keeps going. The ice does melt in the unit because it is not made to store the ice, only make it. I would recommend this to anyone who loves soft ice as long as you don’t need to make for large families.

⭐️ 1 Star – Loud, Defective, and No Real Warranty Support
Just like most people, I checked the reviews before purchasing and everything seemed fine at first. I bought this ice maker in July 2025, and it worked normally for a few months. Fast forward to January 2026, and the machine is now completely unusable. The ice maker makes a constant, extremely loud screeching noise that only stops when the unit is turned off. We have cleaned it thoroughly, checked for obstructions, and followed all troubleshooting steps — nothing fixes the issue. I contacted Target, and while they said the product is no longer covered by them, they referred me to a warranty insurance provider. Unfortunately, that led nowhere. The phone number goes straight to a voicemail that doesn’t even sound like a legitimate company, and the email has never been answered despite multiple attempts. Now I’m 7 months from purchase, stuck with a broken ice maker, and out $200. This is extremely disappointing. A product at this price point should last longer than a few months, and warranty support should actually exist. I would not recommend this ice maker
