Conair Shines & Smooths Detangle Nylon Bristle Cushion Paddle Hair Brush

I have long, thick, 2B hair. The brush started great, however after time the cushion started to peal away from the brush itself. It would get stuck in my hair, even when I started from the tips and worked my way to the top. Eventually, 6 months later the cushion now fully comes off the brush. Still usable, but annoying when after a few brushes the cushion gets stuck, dangeling in my hair.

Great and sturdy brush! Perfect for thick hair

This brush is beautiful, it is strong so it gets through all my curly. I was looking for a sturdy brush and i found one!

The brush is made well as far as the handle and outer material goes, but this is the worst brush I have ever used. It is painful for both my teen and myself (we both have different hair types). It makes more tangles on both of us and makes both of us wince in pain. Bought a different brush and threw this away

Terrible. Pulls your hair and doesn’t get knots out. In fact it makes more knots.

I have bleached my hair for years… platinum blonde lately. So my hair is very fragile and damaged. It was getting really bad for a while. I recently lost my hairbrush, and decided to buy this one. Best purchase in decades!!! It’s been a couple of months now, and my hair has NEVER looked so healthy! It is also growing faster… like when I was in my 20’s!!! It’s unbelievable. Not guaranteeing that this will happen to everyone. I am only sharing my honest experience with this product. I am so grateful to have found this.

The brush itself is fine but the whole bristle panel popped out within a month of use making it not useable.

Perfect brush for styling hair with a lot of volume. The wooden handle is sturdy and unique. I actually used it to detangle I. The water with my curly hair as well.

I never leave reviews, but this brush is so bad that I need to help prevent someone from wasting their money on this piece of junk. This is the worst brush I’ve ever owned. If you have tangles at all, it rips your hair out when you try to brush them out. If you don’t have tangles, it still hurts when you brush your hair. Your hair gets caught between the plastic and wood and it rips it out. Don’t waste your money.

Super cute. Worked great for long thin, but a lot of hair. Giving it a 3 because the handle broke…not even 4 months in.

Damaged upon delivery

I love this brush so much that I came to review it. I recently found it in the store. I love that it has "bristles" that have ends that are large, round, and smooth. This is excellent for a sensitive scalp. The large paddle helps hair dry faster with the blow dryer. The treated surface helps fine, frizzy hair dry very smoothly. I love that the bristles don't have that little tiny bristle next to them that is on many brushes, as I believe it pulls on the hair, and it's just another place for bacteria to grow. I'm sorry to see some reviews of their brush falling apart. I'll be extra careful how I care for it. I think Conair could make the body from plastic and rubber. The attached part to the wood does seem fragile. I looked through the self to find the best one put together, as they were all attached slightly unevenly.

The brush itself is really nice, the wood finish discolors quickly but it doesn’t stain my hair so I don’t think it’s a huge issue

The hair brush came in the mail today because the store I ordered for pick up didn't have it in stock. The hair brush I received is a completely different color than the hair brush pictured. It seems decent so far but its not what I ordered so I did knock a couple of stars off for that. I'm not exactly thrilled about this but I'm not going to go through the process of starting a return and drive to the store to do it.
