Start with STEP 2 (14 mg) for 6 weeks, then STEP 3 (7 mg) for 2 weeks and then stop. staps 2 and 3 allow you to gradually reduce your level of nicoline. Completing the full program will increase your chances of quitting successfully apply one new patch every 24 hours on skin that is dry, clean and hairless. Works great if you can keep them on. Bad adhesive
Product does what it is supposed to do as far as curbing cravings. However, they don't stick well once you get your day started. They're fine if you work inside with little movement, but once you go outside and perform regular daily tasks, the adhesive does not work. This product should have two jobs, one to stick, and two to help you quit smoking. Not sticking just adds to the aggravation of trying to quit and could result in someone just throwing it away and moving on.

Alleviated my cravings, difficult to adhere
Some patches would not adhere, wasted 5 of them trying to figure out what the best approach was. My suggestion would be to include alcohol wipes or something similar with each box.

Start my day without a smoke
Time release let's me wake up in the morning without a nicotine monkey on my back screaming for a smoke. Gives me a chance to start my day without a cigarette. Caveat: Nicotine patches can create some seriously vivid dreaming when wearing one all night.

Neither Gum or patches work.
I tried the gum. I didn't like the flavor & it hurt my teeth. As far as the patch. I have vitiligo. So it didn't help. It didn't stick to my skin & i usually never have a hard time sleeping but w/patches on when they did stick. It was really hard to sleep. I been smoking 19 Years now. I tried cold turkey for 7 months. I also vqped but that made my craving higher for a menthol smoke... not every1 is the same , but I don't recommend this product. It's less painful & free to do cold turkey.

I thought this was to aid in helping stop the usage of nicotine. I see why it works the nicotine one gets from smoking it's getting it through the patch. Not really quitting I'd say, just switched methods of nicotine intake.

It has worked so far
So a smoker for over 25 years. When I decided to quit I was smoking 2 packs full flavor Marlboro a day. On step 1 for around the first 5 weeks I did smoke on occasion. Maybe average 2 a day. Then once that pack was gone, I have not smoked. On step 3 and I must say as long as I stay occupied or have hard candy I am okay. When I personally think about a cigarette I seem to crave more. With each step down I have worried about those uncontrollable, impossible cravings. However I must say the cravings have gotten less not worse. One more week and I am done with the 10 week program. So hoping I can make it without the patch and eventually without the lozenges. As far as the not sticking issue I just put a band aid across mine and I was good to go.

Seriously works!! No lie.. 10 year smoker!
I can’t express to you how happy I am with this product.. I’ve been smoking for 12 years Got up too 10 plus cigarettes a day even more than that when gaming or (Screen staring for long periods of time) I have now used Nicoderm CQ for 4 days and have not smoke or craved what so ever! My patch stays on 24 hours with out coming off.. of course I cleaned the area arms really good/ shaved body hair before applying.. it’s great all the way around! My kids and family and super proud of me and I’m proud of myself! Thank you for such a amazing product!! FIVE STARS!!

So far so good!
Tried to quit cold turkey. Withdrawal symptoms were terrible. This does the job its meant to do (at least for me): curb the physical symptoms. The rest in all psychological. I read somewhere online that this increases your chances of quitting from 3% to 6% (give or take). I took that as a personal challenge. :)

Smoked for 25 years,that's over 9,000 days and I am on day 4 of my quit.The longest I've ever not smoked I used the patch..and I am going to try again.I dont wear them to bed.but they do take the edge off for sure.They are the most popular form of NRT's. I'm doing this for everyone who currently smokes and can't give it up.We need to show others that they can do it too. Let's keep looking to our smoke free future
