This beater did scrape the bowl, but as a result pushed ingredients up and over the side of the bowl. If you have a splash guard for your mixer it might be fine, but it made a huge mess that my original paddle attachment did not.

This is awesome for scraping the sides of my metal 6qt bowl! the quality is not awesome though. The first one I had cracked and snapped completely in half when I added Chocolate chips to my bowl. I had to dump the entire recipe out and start over. I love how works so much that I invested in another one. My next one, the silicone blade peeled away from the plastic, so it is also useless. I will likely buy another.

The blade is plastic and does not fit without being forced onto the shaft. Had to bore it out before it would fit. Feels flimsy and that it might break up at any moment. Will be returning

I have tried other scraper beater blades but this one my fit my 610 model. It worked great. My normal beater blade leaves lots of stuff unmixed so I’m always stopping and scraping!

I've had my mixer for 19 years. I purchased this because it had the bowl scraper edges. I guess I'm old fashioned and used to the attachment being metal. I was disappointed in the plastic. It did not fit onto my mixer properly, and when I tried to use it, the motor on my mixer seized up. I returned it.

This blade works terrific in the stainless steel bowl. The original blade did not reach either the sides or the bottom. The glass bowl was too heavy for me to lift.

This is a must have accessory for your KitchenAid mixer. Before I got this I really struggled with stuff sticking to the side of the bowl when I was mixing, now that I have this it takes care of almost all of that problem for me.

I searched quite a bit for a scraper beater for my lift bowl mixer. I was only able to find those without any interior structure until I came across this one. It perfectly mixed my cake batter and frosting without any hand scraping of the bowl. I am very happy with my purchase.

Maybe used 3 times..the last time I was making cookie dough and it broke snapped the plastic beater was in on 2/3 didn't ever fully clean the sides but didn't return it because it cleaned better than my kitchen aid one..but now it's useless cheap plastic never felt sturdy and my cookie dough agrees. What a waste of $30

Instead of scraping the bowl it "flings" the ingredients out the top. I have tried it with different baked goods. It didn't matter the ingredient of it is not already completely mixed it throws it out. It also does not actually scrape the bowl. It is also made of cheap plastic.
So sad, but no fit!!

Adjusted the mixer bowl as directed, but it still would not work properly. It still scraped the bottom of the bowl at the lowest possible setting. Very disappointing.

This fits my KitchenAid Professional 600 and does scrape the sides. If you miss this from the title, this only fits 6qt bowls if you have a mixer that lifts -- the bowls for the tilt mixers are different, even if they are 6qt. The attachment is plastic, not the white enamel you may be led to believe this is made of like the other KitchenAid attachments. It's a decent value though especially if you get it on sale.
