Mixed feelings on Scotch tape
Avoid these orange dispensers and stick to regular-sized rolls. The tape works great for occasional use with its reduced core. Handy for small tasks.

Not a great experience
The tape breaks off into pieces before you can get it off the roll. I ended up using a razor blade to get off what I needed wasting half the roll in the process. At that point I really didn't care because I just wanted the experience to be over. As many others have stated already, not a great product. We as consumers are at fault for not doing our research before hand. We simply need to wake up, get smarter, and quit wasting our money on things that do not work.

Garbage Tape
This tape is the WORST!!! It will not stay on the boxes. It keeps coming loose no matter what I do. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Tape keeps shredding
I bought a dispenser of Scotch Packaging Tape, 84.2 Yards. It was fine for about 12 inches. After that, the tape kept shredding, a thin section constantly separated from the tape. It was as bad as the worst brand X packaging tape I ever bought. Never expected Scotch to sell such a sub-standard tape. After I get my holiday packages taped, I will toss the rest of the tape. Way too much time, mess, and effort just to get some tape. (I ship lots of packages for my art business, so I am not a packaging tape novice).

It's tape
Shipping tape used to be about a buck per roll, but like everything else, the price has increased. It's the same tape it always used to be, but now is 6X of that buck I used to pay and I'm not quite sure why. It's tape folks, nothing has changed in terms of quality, it still sticks like it always has.

Not right for me
I bought this tape to refill a tape dispenser I already had. My other tape was smooth and stuck very well and was quiet. You could hear it coming off of the roll. This roll is super loud and the stick is only ok.

Storage and packaging tape is terrible!
After a lifetime of using Scotch tape, I've made my last purchase. Your Storage and Packing tape shreds into tiny strips before you can get it off the roll. I'm sure I've thrown away more than half of the roll that was pieces that shredded one way or the other before I could get a full strip to seal a package or label. This is my last roll. How disappointing from a once great company!

Rubbish tape
Bought this to pack house. EVERY box, old, new, clean, worn the tape comes unstuck from. The bottoms fell out of every box we didnt manually press down avery 2 days. Totally worthless product.

It's clear, it appears to have glue, I was not aware it was a joke and I would have been better off using static window clings to seal my boxes.

Impossible to start
Why don't you make it easier for the customer to get the tape started. Don't you realize there are a lot of seniors, etc. who don't have FINGERNAILS to scrape the tape off the roll. You're a packaging company; you should make it easy to use your product!
