    Splooge Strip

    The slimy polymer from the lubrication strip is disgusting. Change it back, fire the moron that approved it and spend more time on quality control or you'll be losing another customer.

    Not Impressed

    I've always used Skinguard or Proglide, but everything has gotten so expensive I decided to go with a new and improved Mach 3. It leaves nicks and cuts on the face and it's not a pleasant experience at all. I don't know what is "new and improved", but it isn't this. As always with Gillette, you kept your premium pricing! Never again.

    Quality has fallen through the floor, no longer usable

    I've been using Mach3 since I started shaving and they have been consistently fine over the years. They keep trying to revolutionize the razor by adding more blades and other paraphernalia and features over the decades, but the Mach3 was an old stand by that you could always count on to simply do the job. Recently the name brand cartridges have become borderline unusable. Out of the box they are uncomfortable, after a few uses they are downright painful. Target had some self-branded generic refills that were marvelous. I bought some on clearance and fell in love with them. Now that they don't sell them anymore and I had to go back to the Gillette brand, and I realized that I had been putting up with garbage. It's completely unacceptable to pay name brand prices for the worst quality. For the first time in two decades, I'm looking for a new razor.

    MAYBE A BAD BATCH of Mach 3 blades

    The last refill I bought must be defective: two cartridges used so far fail after about 8 shaves. The top blue plastic falls out as I am shaving.

    Unhappy with new Mach 3 blades

    I have been shaving with mach 3 since they showed up on the market. I have been very satisfied until this last bulk pack. I shave every day and used to get 2 weeks out of a blade. With these new blades I am getting 2 days and that isn’t a comfortable shave. I am quite unhappy with the changes that were apparently made.

    DON'T BUY THESE YOU BEEN WARNED!

    I've been buying these razors for years, my partner used to use these, and I decided to try them out and loved them! These were once among the best on the market, but now they are the absolute worst! I would buy these in bulk, and now I wouldn't even bat an eye at these. You can only use these razors about 3-4 max times before they start to get difficult to shave, and you have to press harder on the skin, which will cause irritation. Shaving should be smooth to do. These have turned out to be like some quick disposable shavers. I am never buying these again! The company has cut back for the worst! Their razors are no longer superior. Don't bother buying these. The good reviews are from the past before the downgrade of their product! Any new reviews are fake!!! Trust me! I mentioned this to my partner and even he said they're terrible now. I can't talk about their other razors; I haven't tried them, but only on this one in particular. To be honest, I wouldn't care to try them. Once I finish these, I will finally be done with them and move on to the next brand.

    What's up with the goopy lube strip?!

    I've been using Mach3 blades for years and just opened a new pack. I was curious when I saw the deep navy blue lubricant strip on top. When I started shaving in the shower I knew immediately you had changed the product. What's the deal with the goopy lube that comes off the strip? Glad I was shaving in the shower to easily wash this off. Terrible change.

    Different strip leaves residue beware!!

    The strip used to be a blue white now it’s dark blue which whatever until I went to use it, the strip leaves a glue like residue behind and it irritated my skin. Please go back to the original strip.

    Put Trimmer On Back & Improve Blade Quality

    I agree withe previous review. Why don't you help us out and put a trimmer on the back of this? I cut myself trying to edge my sideburns. Do it for safety please. That would be great. Improve the blade quality a bit too. The refills are expensive now so it's not a lot to ask. I don't want 5 blades. Improve the Mach 3 for a loyal user of 30+ years and everyone else. Thank you!

    Lubricant is Terrible

    Someone changed the lubricant on these blades. It is sticky and almost impossible to remove from your face an neck without getting BACK in the shower. The lubricant is so sticky it literally forms lines dripping off of your face. Totally unnecessary and clearly was not tested properly. You would have to be foolish to think this adds something to the shave. I have an expensive handle from Art of Shaving that takes these blades and I will now have to forego its use because I need a new razor blade that doesn't make a mess like this. 30+ year customer lost.

    Change the Lube Strip Back

    The new lubrication strip is too tacky and slimy, and the blue dye doesn't look right, aesthetically, compared to the white/blue combo that was on the blade before. At the very least, change the hue to the same as the blue rubber comb, or back to the white and blue hue that was on it before. Making it less slimy would also be great. I understand that this was probably done to cut costs, but, nevertheless...

    noticeable difference

    change in lubrication strip, have been using these razors for years, but now I noticed that I get left with nicks and cuts and razor bumps and doesn't leave as close of a shave as before. I thought I was the only one, but I see that many feel the same way as I do.

    Awful Blue Strip

    The new blue strip is awful. Been using Mach 3 for 20 years. Leaves a sticky and nasty goo! I’m changing products. Can’t even use the 9 remaining. Trash can!
