This was my go-to floss for years but just recently they must have changed the floss material and now it’s terrible (sticks to your teeth and is stringy/doesnt ‘glide’ anymore. I never ever write reviews. Please go back to what you had before!

I agree with many of the people who have reviewed this product and have recently found it lacking. Just in the last couple months the product has changed and it is now clearly inferior to what it used to be. The new version is more plastic and stretchy and breakable, the old version was way more slippery and tough. Please at least make the old version available again, even if you have to charge us more for it. Cost cutting is fine, but not when it ruins the product; this is even worse than shrinkflation.

This was the only floss I ever used. It was smooth and comfortable, while flossing effectively. I used Glide floss for years. They recently changed it for the absolute worst. It’s like flossing with plastic wire now. If I could, I’d give it ZERO STARS. It gets stuck in between my teeth and is actually causing bleeding of the gums. Shame on Oral-B. These companies cheapen & ruin their products and raise their prices. The only ones that are benefiting are the companies themselves and their wallets. Unfortunately, the consumers are the ones that lose. Absolutely DON’T Recommend this product any longer. A quality product that went from 5 Stars to Zero Stars.

Look at the other reviews. A real bait & switch, this was by far my favorite floss and they replaced smooth gliding waxed ribbon with basically what feels like the hard plastic twine stuff used to clamp huge boxes shut. I hate it...

As other recent reviews have noted - this is all true. Utter garbage. I thought I had been sent the wrong thing. This is now a sharp, stretchy piece of plastic, nothing like the original which had a great consistency. Feels like I am flossing with fishing twine. Got a refund and throwing it away. Fix this please.

It used to be smooth and gliding, but the latest purchase feels like rough plastic and hurts the gums. Returning it to the store right away! Why do you always have to ruin something great? Really, why???

They switched to a different type of material for the floss. Seems like a cost cutting measure. It’s basically just a raw strip of plastic now. It shreds like crazy leaving plastic fibers stuck in your gums. It’s totally unusable. Do not buy this.

The quality of the floss has changed and it’s terrible. It’s so rough on your teeth and gums. It’s like using a guitar string to floss. I don’t recommend whatsoever. I’m scared to use it and pull a tooth out. I don’t understand why they would change something that was perfectly fine!

I used to swear by this floss. It was smooth, strong, and slid between my teeth like a ninja on a mission. I recommended it to everyone — friends, family, strangers in the oral care aisle. But something changed. Whether it’s the formula, the texture, or just the company cutting corners, this floss has become a shredded disappointment. Now it frays. It snaps. It gets stuck between my teeth like it’s auditioning for a permanent role. What used to be a 30-second flossing routine now feels like dental combat. I miss the old version. Truly. But until they bring it back, I’m moving on. Life’s too short to battle your floss.

I have been buying oral B floss for years & years - namely the deep clean and cpomfort plus floss. I noticed a nre ?micro textured sticker" - and I knew they had done something terrible to my favorite floss. Reda the other reviews - the new floss HURTS, someone on Reddid called it similar to guitar string. It's that bad - and now you can only buy the new micro-textured version - which is awful. They completly ruined this brand with the micro textured style.
