New Floss Hurts!
I used this floss my whole adult life. My dentist recommended it 15 years ago because it was soft and gentle on gums. The new texture of this floss actually hurts my gums now. It gets stuck between my teeth too and my teeth don't feel clean. I thought maybe it was just me but my boyfriend complained about it too and he assumed I bought a different kind of floss. Unless they change the formula back, I'm done with this brand. Extremely disappointing!

Why oh why did you have to change this floss? It's absolutely horrible now. I can't stand it. It shreds now and it doesn't work well for tight teeth. Please go back to the original. I've used this for many, many years and would never have thought about switching but I do not like this new change at all. Other people seem to agree. Go back or you will lose a ton of business.

Sad teeth with floss formula change.
I have always been an Oral B fan. I used to use The Glide Pro Health deep clean floss, UNTIL the formula changed. This new stuff snags, shreds, tears and breaks apart as I floss. It's so distressing. I understand that you are attempting to lessen your "plastic footprint" with this change and I applaud this idea. However, even your new formula floss is being served up in a plastic container! You still create plastic floss picks...plastic floss threaders...isn't this a bit hypocritical? Thankfully, I was able to buy quite a few of the original formula flosses before I couldn't find anymore in the stores. I am searching for effective alternatives while hoping you'll go back to the original formula. You fixed something, that wasn't broken.

I don’t write reviews often but man this floss is just terrible. There was nothing wrong with how it originally was! It’s like a thin string of straight up plastic. Truly horrible and definitely not buying again.

Ery disappointing
When using this floss it breaks several times. Since oral b changed the manufacturing it is the worst floss on the market. It’s not worth buying. I have used oral b for many years and have to switch too another brand.

Why did the original OralB Glide floss deteriorate so much? This "new" formula is disastrously inferior to the previous version. Why mess with a trusted and superior product? Sadly I will be switching brands.

change it back! It is terrible now
The new change to "micro-textured" floss was a mistake. It is difficult to floss with and get between your teeth, but not in a good "scrubbing" way. It feels like trying to get a thickish bit of plastic between your teeth and is squeaky and also rather cutting with your gums. I hope they reverse this! Bought a pack of three and had to toss them.

Do not like the change to micro-textured
Very disappointed in the change to this micro-textured string floss. I have bought the Oral b pro floss for years, which apparently changed the product with a very, very thin string that curls up when pulled off the container. It's really hard to use, slips off the tooth and is too thin. Will try another brand.

No longer gentle on gums
They…changed the material, not just the texture (which would have been acceptable since I like the idea of the ridges) but the actual material that some of us were accustomed to using daily on a very delicate part of the human mouth - our gums! Despite the company’s reason for “less microplastics”, this somehow feels more plastic than the original smooth floss. This doesn’t floss enough debris from between my teeth, and feels harsher on already receding gumlines. This used to be gentle on the gums. Now I feel like I’m flossing with some 3-D printed suture string. It even causes more spit splash (messy for the mirror) due to the reverberation between this plastic suture and your teeth. After a loyal user of this brand for 15+ years, I am switching to another. Sutures are for stitches, not gums.

Shreds between teeth
My teeth are spaced tightly and this floss breaks easily and shreds into thread like pieces every time. Very disappointing!

Long strand of plastic ribbon impossible to use
I used Oral B floss for a long time. I think they changed it, now it looks like some flat plastic ribbon which is impossible to use because since it is not like before like a thread, it is a flat ribbon it keeps getting stuck in between teeth. There is no minty flavor either.
