Much better than other bleach or non-bleach toilet bowl cleaners.
Been using this stuff for years, I love the spearmint scent (cannot STAND the smell of bleach) and the fact that it has coloring. I know dyes are generally useless and bad, but I like to be able to see the cleaner so I know where I've cleaned. the 7th generation brand doesn't suds up as much as this one, and it's clear so I can't tell where the soap has been. Also, I love the twist lid on this, I hate touching the cap on 7th generation.

Improper labeling
I love this product and use it frequently, but my reason for rating 1 star is that the bottle lacks clear safety info and Target sloppily packed this product. When I received the shipment containing this product there was tape covering the nozzle. The bottle was not properly closed, so when I removed this tape, some of the product had leaked and splashed on my hands, arms, and knee. I immediately tried to find what I should do on the bottle, but there were no warnings listed telling me what to do if I got this on my skin. I had to resort to Google to find an answer. Luckily I rinsed it all off, I hope I do not have any skin damage from this. But what frustrated me is that precious time could have been saved if there was safety/warning instructions on the bottle instructing what to do in case of accidental skin exposure.

Love this product
I have been using this toilet cleaner for years. It’s safe and effective and leaves the bathroom smelling really nice and fresh. It cleans all the residence from our well water that leaves stains in the toilet bowl. I like the packaging it’s easy to use. We have a septic system and method is safe for that system. Also a bottle lasts me forever! I will use this product until method doesn’t make it anymore!

Opinion from a Senior
We've been happily using method products (and recommending them to friends) since we first encountered them several years ago. We expect this will be another excellent addition and an improvement over older, less environmentally desirable brands to which we've become accustomed over our lifetimes. It's never too late to progress from "good enough" to " Best we've found". I rather wish our local stores stocked more method products (Seniors tend to shop locally; online seems to be less environmentally efficient, but then again, we're becoming a niche market, too...so...)
