For sunscreen use: shake well before use; apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure; Reapply: after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating; immediately after towel drying; at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10a.m. - 2 p.m; wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses.

    Rancid smell

    Smells horrid. We use the tinted one usually. So disappointed. I bought this clear one, so we wouldn’t get stains on my son’s clothes. But, he refused to use it due to the awful smell.

    Why does it smell now?

    Have been using this for years and for some reason the recent formula smells really bad? I’m so confused.. the previous ones had no smell at all. Are they bad or they just changed the formula? And I purchased from 2 different retailers to see and they both smell like that. Now i have to find a different sunscreen after using this brand for years.

    Horrible smell, like dirty socks

    The sunscreen smells almost exactly like dirty socks. The smell is overwhelming when you apply it, and it doesn't fade. I have no idea if it's spoiled or if this is the way they wanted it to smell, but it's really nasty.

Because the fluid is so thin, the scent molecules evaporate very rapidly. Unlike creams, the scent of this fluid typically disappears within 1 to 2 minutes of being rubbed onto your skin.     I’ve been testing this sunscreen for a couple of weeks and the protection is really good. It feels lightweight on the skin and doesn’t leave a strong white cast, which I love. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because it can look a little shiny on oily skin by the end of the day. Other than that, it’s a really solid SPF for everyday use.

    Sad we lost a staple

    I’ve been using this sunscreen for years. They recently changed their formula in 2026 and now all their tinted sunscreens smell like cheese/feet. DO NOT BUY THIS SUNSCREEN ANYWHERE.

    A Must for Mature Skin

    I am a 55 yr old woman with fair/medium skin complexion with red little capillaries on my face (nose, cheeks, etc.). I have worn base makeup practically daily since 1984, trying virtually all brands. I have to say, that this makeup is truly unlike any other! So smooth, absorbant, gentle feeling. Does NOT accumulate in your wrinkle lines as with a base. You actually rub it in, versus having to apply a base carefully to not have streaks or uneven coverage. Creates an even skin tone, with a glowing result! No redness or dryness. Added bonus… SPF of 50! I have had two Moh’s procedures on my face for skin cancer. SO in-love with this product. If I could suggest anything to Laroche it would be to offer a darker tint for summertime.
