Last goodbyes
It’s hard for me not to love a book...my 9-month-old has a library of more than 100 books already and I’m always adding to it. There aren’t many I wouldn’t re-read. But this one missed the mark for us. My husband read it to our baby and the wording made it sound like he was saying his final goodbyes to our baby. It crept us out. If you have a terminally ill family member, this would be a sweet gift. If not, it sounds far too final.

I discovered Nancy Tillman's books a couple of years ago and love every one of them! Not only does each one contain amazing artwork, the text is wonderful! I've shed more than one tear when reading them, especially when reading them for the first time. You can't go wrong with any of her books! The board books are especially great for babies and toddlers.

One of the sweetest!
Admittedly, I have more of a fondness for this book than my almost-three-year-old, but it really is lovely. The illustrations are beautiful and unique, and the words are gentle and loving. I hope as my daughter grows she'll be able to understand it a little better and relate to it a bit more.
