    Fresh coffee

    Excellent coffee, where's the 18oz bag!?

    I recently received an 18oz bag of Holler as part of a birthday present a few days ago. I just finished a bag of another brand's coffee the day before, and while a had a unopened bag of my regular beans I decided to give your beans a try. It made such a great pot I came to check out your website and learn more about the coffee. Very delicious and flavorful. Holler is probably up there on my list as one of the best tasting black coffees l have sipped. If I see it in the store, it could easily become my new morning cup. Also, sad to see that you do not offer the 18oz bag on your website as part of the subscription. A 12oz bag would barely get me through a week. Otherwise great job on the sourcing and roasting, the blend is most excellent. Would recommend.

    Best coffee ever

    My first experience with Stumptown was on a flight from Portland on an Alaskan airlines flight. Researched to see what flavor it was and was told it was closest to Holler Mountain. The best cup of coffee I haver ever had !

    I accidentally got ground, so this is more about rating that aspect. I'd like to try the whole beans still as the coffee was decent, though a little roastier.

    A comfort cup

    This is my go to cup in the morning. It’s perfectly balanced and isn’t trying too hard. It’s perfect when you crave a cup of coffee. It’s the most comforting cup first thing in the morning.

    Amazing coffee beans for espresso!

    Excellent beans! I am not a pro but have made my own espresso at home for nearly a decade. I use Breville Barista Touch machine and make my own iced or hot lattes and cappuccinos. Usually I order fresh beans from a roaster in San Antonio called What’s Brewing but it’s just not economical all the time and you have to wait for delivery. I started my search for something local at target by buying these beans and the Blue Bottle beans they offer. These made perfect crema and a delicious nutty flavor profile and wonderful aroma I was looking for! I was able to dial in my shot the very first time on grind setting 12. Stay away from the blue bottle though..very very old they are not even useable and likely going in the trash.

    Black Coffee Drinkers will love the roast!

    Love all the Stumptown brews! Holler Mountain has a citrus jammy flavor that is good light- medium roast. As I do not add sugar or cream the taste of the bean is why I purchase a whole bean. Stumptown puts love and importance on the flavor of the bean and why true black coffee drinkers will love Stumptown.

    I am somewhat of a coffee snob so I can be very discerning when I choose a bean. I have to say I was absolutely shocked at the fantastic flavor of this blend. To me it’s possibly the best coffee on the market. The price isn’t bad either I just wish I made enough money to keep it in the house at all times lol Thank you Stumptown for making my mornings that much more enjoyable

    Probably one of the favorite bags of coffee out there. Saw the name and the bag design at my local Meijer in Michigan and thought I'd give it a try. It's even better getting it fresh from Stumptown. Keep doing great things!
