Q: will this work on gold plated jewelry or brass?

A: Hagerty Jewelry Foam cleans diamonds, precious stones, platinum, gold, stainless steel and titanium jewelry. It will not remove tarnish from silver or brass, although it is safe to use on either. Hope that helps, thank you.
