Really enjoyed it
To Love a Stranger is the fourth book in the Wyoming Series. I haven't read the first two, but I read the third and really enjoyed it. That being said, it is not necessary to enjoy this book. Coble took me on an adventure with just the right amount of romance and suspense mixed in. I found the book hard to put down and enjoyed every minute of it. To Love a Stranger is set in 1868 in Utah and Arizona territories. It follows Jasper and Bessie and Jasper is reassigned to a fort in Arizona. Being married to each other was not in either of their plans. But when Bessie's sister used her name she wasn't thinking about how serious the situation was. Bessie felt she must abide by the contract, even though she had no clue what her sister was doing. Now is her chance to get out from under her beautiful sisters shadow and show everyone who she is deep down. Life at an established fort isn't easy. Shortly after arriving she discovers they are being sent to rebuild a fort, and wonders if she is up to the task. Will trials draw them closer to each other or push them apart? Jasper's past hasn't been an easy one, will he let it stand in the way of what God has planned for them? I loved how the main characters faith was woven throughout the book. I enjoyed getting to learn more about life at a fort and some of the challenges that early settlers faced. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Historical fiction. I received a copy of this book from Barbour Publishing in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.
