I love the smell, love how soft it makes my hair feel. However, even as someone with a normal hand grip, the bottle is VERY hard to squeeze to get product out. Because of the thick viscosity of the product, it is hard to get product out when I take the cap off, and I have to stick my finger into the bottle to get product out, which increases my wash time.

I liked my curls but i cant stand the smell!! If you are familiar with car mechanic smells. Thats what it reminds me of. My husband said it reminded him of his car soap ...to me it reminds me like car oil !?!

This is a great hydrating natural conditioner without all those bad chemicals. Just make sure to follow directions and leave for at least 5 mins to get the benefits, it’ll leave your hair sooooo soft. (and i personally recommend to comb the conditioner through your hair to ensure even distribution) My only gripe is that this NEEDS to come in a pump bottle & another option for a larger size, it’s a super thick formula and is actually a workout to get it out of the squeeze bottle. But yea 10/10 just change the bottle pls and give us larger sizes for the long haired girlies <3

This could be a marvelous hair concoction. If you care about the planet, though, check the camille rose site. They admit (maybe even brag about) sourcing from the Amazonian Rain Forest, as if that region isn't already exploited and endangered. Come on camille rose---you can do better!

I have type 4A high porosity hair and I love this conditioner. It smells like fruit loops and left my hair feeling very hydrated and silky. My only issue isn’t with the product but the packaging. The spout is very narrow and you have to squeeze the bottle quite hard to get the product out which is difficult in the shower with wet hands.

This smells delicious and makes my 4c/ low poristy/ fine stands very soft! The only complaint I have is that it's think and a bit hard to get out of the bottle, but it's not a problem, I just dilute it with water after the first use.

first, let me say, I have fine/thin/wavy hair, one section of my hair is very curly, and the rest is textured/ wavy. I was hoping for this to work, I purchased the Ginger shampoo with the Moroccan Pear Conditioning Custard, the ingredients are curly girl-approved and sound very healthy, although the shampoo does have Clarifying Ingredients and castor oil which can cause build-up. The conditioner does have Glycerin (if that's something you're trying to avoid) but I still wanted to give it a try. The shampoo smell was a very faint ginger smell, which was great because I am very sensitive to scents, however, the feel of the shampoo in my hair did not feel good at all, it felt like a rich oil and waxy feeling, no matter how much I rinsed it felt like the waxy feel would not come out. It gave me immediate flash dry and I could not wait to use the conditioner to see if I can get moisture/slip. The conditioner, smell is amazing, there is a fruity scent, not too strong. It did not have any slip and did not feel very moisturizing at all. by the time I got out of my shower, my hair looked like wet straw, some strands were falling out, and it was a tangled mess. This might be good for someone that has very curly hair or oily hair, but for someone with fine/thin/ hair that tends to be on the drier side, this may not work for you. I will not purchase it again and Thank You Target for refunding me.

I am really impressed with the versatility of this conditioner! It really did condition my hair, but not in the way I expected. I recently got a sew-in installed, and the braids were a little tight on my scalp. I was experiencing tenderness for ~3 days, with the 3rd day being the worst of them all, to the point that it kept waking me up in the middle of the night pulling on my scalp! No matter what I did, the pain and tightness would not go away! I tried putting oil, sprays, warm towel, I even tried washing my hair to loosen the braids but still nothing. As a last resort, I applied the Moroccan Pear Conditioning Custard inside the braids AND I FELT INSTANT RELIEF. I was crying tears of joy and was able to sleep peacefully after being awake for 4 hours (well into 4 am in the morning). I literally felt the product penetrating my scalp and soothing the braids. I am so thankful for this product and such a proud customer of Camille Rose!
