Berenstain Bears Get Ready for School (Hardcover) (Jan Berenstain)

Saw this in the store and hesitated in buying it... I'm so glad I bought it for my 4-year old. He loves this book (has been going to special-ed preschool for two years now). He's currently in a phase where he needs to read this book every day. This book has flaps you can lift on every page to reveal an item underneath the flap that the young bears are looking for, as expressed in the story's dialogue, as they prepare for the first day of school. I grew up loving Berenstain Bears and am happy to pass this on to my son. I am looking for more of the lift the flap books because this little bit of interaction helps to keep him interested. It's a short read and for young kids for sure. I'd recommend it for an age-appropriate child (older kids may find it boring because the dialogue revolves around looking for the items that are hidden under the flap... for example: "I just need to get my toothpaste." Where the flap is the medicine cabinet mirror and folds over to reveal what is inside the medicine cabinet. "Have you seen my math book?" The flap of other school books hides the math book underneath. Etc...
