    Does not reduce redness

    I bought this and returned it a week later. It dos not reduce the look of redness from my rosacea, which was the whole point of buying a green tinted color corrector. Also the texture was unpleasant and made my skin feel tight. I also tried one of the elf primers (matte) with this, and it still didn’t work. It’s frustrating. Do better elf.

    There are better elf primers

    I tried the Tone Adjusting Face Primer in Small size to see if the green tint would help camouflage redness but I wasn't satisfied with the results. I used 2-3 pumps and while the product glided easily on my face, it didn't cover any red areas. Even when I tried to apply more primer, it didn't make any difference. Furthermore, the primer started feeling heavy and oily throughout the day and my makeup looked like it had slid off my face. This product didn't work on my combination and hormonal skin and I think there are better elf primers with better formulations out there.

    Does absolutely nothing

    I cannot begin to say how much nothing this does. Zero redness toning. A tiny amount felt slick, and concealer didn't stick to my face. And while it was invisable after applying, it left a green undertone under concealer. Zero stars and wasted money.

    Not the same formula

    The new formula the pump bottle sucks. It pills up immediately and your makeup can’t stick to it. Just the slightest touch and it rubs off the skin. It’s no where near the same formula as the one in the pot.

    Offers no colour correction

    Well, it's a primer. A silicone based primer. But as for its colour correcting capacity, it has virtually none. In fact, my reddest spots actually look more red after applying this. Elf has better primers than this, and I suggest you look there.

    Doesn't cover redness, gets clumpy

    Very disappointed. It doesn't do squat to adjust for redness and worse, it's near impossible to apply. Whenever I put it on, it just starts clumping into little pills and rolling off my skin. My skin has to be 100% free of any other products and I have to pat it in very gently for it to stick. If I accidentally overapply it or put too many other products on top, it also starts to clump up. How did this get past product testing? I don't usually review makeup, but this is one of the most horrible makeup products I have ever tried.

    Ingredients are terrible

    I bought this product a few weeks ago and I had recently looked at the ingredients and it has phenoxyethanol. This ingredient should be removed from all of these primers. I’m done buying elf primers since many of them have this ingredient, it’s a known carcinogen and pollutant. The consistency itself is also off, it’s slippery and makeup (including other elf products) don't sit well with it on.

    Takes more than I thought

    If you just smooth this all over the face, it has a nice satiny finish, but doesn’t cover redness totally. Patting the product into the areas you need it most with fingers or a sponge works much better. I also still had to use more than I anticipated. In the end, it does work but requires more effort & more product than I’d thought it would. Foundation blends over the top very nicely.
