The Raskullz Bolt LED Red helmet has a light-up 3D fin hawk! Five LED lights illuminate the rubber mohawk with a steady light or flashing sequence. The lights are activated by a button located on the back of the helmet and will automatically turn off if left on. The child size helmet is recommended for riders 5–8 years old, but will fit anyone with a head measuring 50–54 cm.

Bigger than indicated age, can't really see lights
While it looks super cool style-wise, this helmet doesn't tick all the practical boxes. We ended up giving it to big brother, who is 10, because it was WAY too big for the 5-year-old. Maybe you can see the flashing lights in the dark, but most kids in that age group aren't riding their bikes much after dark. Definitely can't see it at all outside during the day. I'm sure it still protects his head, but I should have gone for a cheaper helmet with fewer frills.

Very dull, and the lights dont stay on.
We ordered a green LED helmet and a red one. The green one is very bright and the lights stay on without holding down the button. This red one is almost identical to the green one, but a different brand. The LED lights are very dull, and only stay on when the button is being pressed. It seems as though the helmets are manufactured by the same facility, yet there’s a big difference in quality as far as the LEDs are concerned.

This helmet looks cool but is poor quality. I ordered this via drive up, when I got home I realized that the helmet was defective. It looked as if the cover slid off the helmet. Glue was exposed and the edges a were rippled. It was such a waste of money.
