Q: Are these meant for use during postpartum recovery?
I tried the Always Ultra Thin Size 5 Extra Heavy Overnight Pads With Wings (Unscented) and would like to share my impressions. First and foremost, I appreciated their thin and soft texture—the pad is barely perceptible against the body, making for a very comfortable night's sleep. The wings help keep the pad securely in place, and the material does not irritate the skin, even if you have sensitive skin. The absence of fragrance is also a major plus; it ensures a feeling of cleanliness and freshness that lasts all night long. Although the pad sometimes requires minor adjustment during very heavy flow, overall, it provides ample comfort and peace of mind throughout the night. I particularly liked that the pad isn't bulky, allowing me to turn over freely in my sleep without experiencing any discomfort. In conclusion, I found these to be a comfortable and soft option for overnight pads—an ideal choice if you prioritize comfort, a slim profile, and a fragrance-free product. Even on nights when I move around more actively, they remain pleasant to wear, making them a choice I’m glad I made.

Great product
Like this pad. Perfect for night time. Long and wide enough. Very comfortable, it didn’t bother me sleeping. Also it won’t irritate my skin. I have very sensitive skin. It easily to get red. It can take large amounts.

Reliable
I like wearing these because I flow heavy but these are pretty reliable and not bulky at all. I wear these during the day and on my lighter cycle days. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all nor does it make me smell.

I opened the pack and it smelled AWFUL! It smelled like chemicals! I won’t be using these anymore. Never again.

Breathable with ultra protection
I’ve been using Always for years, especially the first day of period at night. It makes me sleeping tight and worry-free. With wings protection, I don’t have to worry about leaking. It’s not that thick, but absorbs a lot, making it very breathable, this is so important in summer, otherwise it could be very sticky and uncomfortable.

The best when it comes to heavy flow
I find the Always Ultra Thin in size 5, to be an excellent choice in managing my heavy periods. It offers me full protection both for day and night. The butterfly wings work great when I position them correctly. I appreciate that the pads trap odors even when full and it stays silent as I move around. I also love that each pad can last up to 8hours. The pads are a constant companion in my suitcase whenever I travel. I have tried other brands but still came back to always.

For someone who appreciates maximum coverage at night, this is a must! Absorbs great and easy to apply and remove! Definitely on the oversized feel and look, but for bedtime, that’s not a deal breaker!

Definitely not recommend
I would not recommend this type of period pads. It mentions it's for overnight plus it's for heavy periods and it is long pads but very thin. I do not agree, the period pads, these are mimicking thin ones and it is not leakage prevention and no absorbency. For first few days normal periods are a bit heavy and these do not work at all. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

Was good, now smells like Cancer
I have been using Always ultra thin pads for over 15 years and I have liked the slim quick absorbing abilities. I bought two packs yesterday of different sizes and when I opened them up they reeked of a horrible chemical plastic smell that hasn’t been there before. There’s no way I am going to use them and will be searching for a different brand as I will not be supporting Always any longer. They are expensive as is and I certainly will not be buying pads that could negatively affect my health regardless of how harmless they may say they are. No thank you. 0 of 10 rating

Great
Used these post partum and they ensured no leaks through the night. I had enough to worry about with a baby and recovery from delivery that comfort was a MUST. They weren’t too bulky but were still absorbent.

Always Radiant Size 5 pads are great for heavy flow or postpartum. The pads are super absorbent, thin and comfortable to wear. The light scent is pleasant and not overwhelming.
