A: A shower mat cleaned in the dishwasher to me is kind of gross!

As others reported, the chemical smell from this is overwhelming. For other reasons not related to the odor and not the fault of the mat, I decided not to keep it. I cleaned it, dried it and put it in my great room for the night, planning on disposing of it in the morning. When I got up the entire great room reeked of chemical bathmat!! YIKES!! All my windows are open now as I write!! LOL!! In all fairness, it is certainly possible that the smell might dissipate over time, but even so, the interim period would be uncomfortable. Plus I have a cat to whom I do not want exposed to such potentially toxic smells.

I absolutely hate this mat. I bought it because it was cheap and looked like it would be safely rough in the tub. But it has an absolutely obnoxious smell - cheap, odorous vinyl. I've left it outside in the sun for several days, I've sprayed it with oder covering fragrance, I've sprayed it with bathroom cleaners, I've even used it several times to see if I could wear the smell off. But nope to all of that. When I bring it inside from the garage where I have to store it, it stinks up the whole bathroom. Absolutely terrible. I'd return it if I could, but I threw away the label. It goes in the garbage.
It was fine, but needed replacing relatively quickly. Small.

This product was a fine value at its price point. It wasn't very comfortable to stand on, was smaller than expected, and ultimately we replaced it quicker than shower mats we've used in the past. But at this price point, that's to be expected.

It somehow made my bathtub more slippery. The suction doesn’t suction, so it’s like being on a slip-n-slide on top of another slip-n-slide. I cannot recommend this less. Unless you’d like head injury while naked.
