Gorgeous lamp. Very classy. Assembly was easy, one thing to note, the part that attaches after the lampshade is on, is already attached. So make sure to remove it, put the shade on, then screw it back on. At first I thought the part was missing, so I called the customer service line for the manufacturer, and they explained it came attached.

Absolutely LOVE this floor lamp! I was looking for a light to go behind a chair that was in the corner of a room to provide warm, but efficient light when reading. I was concerned about the height based on another review, but found the height to match the description at about 60.5/61 inches tall. I think the other reviewer may have put the lampshade on upside down causing it to be short. The lamp shade gives off a beautiful diffused light. So happy I purchased!

Almost right
Set up was easy. The shade is a light linen color and larger than I anticipated, which I liked. The base is fairly sturdy. I was disappointed to see some flaws in the shade, that I have to carefully position to hide?. and find myself frequently trying to straighten the shade so it's not lopsided. If the shade was y flawed, I would've given four stars.

Definitely Not 60.5 inches tall
The shade is nice and the amount of light it gives out is good, the base is okay -- however, mine measures 52" from floor to top of shade. This doesn't work for me.
