Hydrating lip balm with minimal sunscreen taste

This SPF lip balm is so good compared to other mineral lip sunscreens I have tried! It is hydrating for the lips, it doesn't leave a white cast, and it doesn't have a bad taste. I bought the clear one, but maybe later I will try the burgundy tint.

Can this be made without SPF?

Everytime I use this, my lips crack like they're chapped. Not sure, but I may be allergic to the SPF component. That said, can you guys just make a traditional lipstick?? So many other companies have non toxic lip stick, but they're about $23-$28 or more. I've tried your other lip color in the squeeze tube, and it's ok but too much work to apply. Please make a regular tube of lipstick!!

Target sold exprired product

Beware buying this lip balm at Target because they are selling it expired. I bought one today February 13, 2026 and only after trying it on I decided to check the expiration date cause this balm felt very dry on my lips. The balm was expired on September, 2025. Now about product itself. Color peach is terracotta color, basically orange. I am giving two stars for clean ingredients and EWG verified otherwise it is zero stars.

I tried to use this and the lip butter was hard and gave no color. I thought that's odd and looked at the box and the expiration date was 09-2025 and today's date is 12-2-2025! Very disappointed and I can't return it.

I don't recommend

This is a disappointing product. Immediately there is a notable old makeup smell which is quite unpleasant to have on your mouth area. Additionally, the tip size is quite small and does not apply well to the lips natural shape. I purchased three products from this company for the first time and disappointed in every single one of them. I do not recommend this brand and they don't offer returns so $50 worth of make-up going in the garbage unfortunately.

Color doesnt match with product swatches

Nice glide, feel moisturizing. Way off on color. I have the original when the tube was gray and the color is not the same, even the swatches they show you online of the color are different. I bought wine, I got brown. Wish they kept the color and formula the same

Peach is ORANGE!

I have the untinted lip butter, and although it still leaves a bit of a white cast, it is wearable (I live in CO so always need spf). The Peach color, is however, unwearable. It is so orange I don't know how anyone would reasonably wear this shade. Wish I would have read more of the reviews and not bothered to purchase. Save your money. Seems like they need to do more work on these colors.

Goodbye Mexico Lip Burn

I've been going to Mexico for almost 10 years and every single time I go I get severe lip burn. I've tried every lip balm with SPF on the market to no avail. Until I found W3ll People's Lip Butter SPF 15 (no color.) I just returned from a 7 night stay in Mexico and my lips are fine! I used it throughout my trip and it worked. It doesn't taste funny or go on wierd. It stays on and does the trick! I'm a huge fan and will use it every Summer from here on out!

Wish I had read the reviews first. It does behave like a lipstick and not a tinted bomb. If it was a lipstick, I actually would have really liked this formula because it is smooth and buttery, however it tastes and smells old! I think lipstick users know what I mean by that. I am going to have to return it.

I wanted to love this…

I love the weight and smoothness of this product but the colors are terribly misrepresented. It is very opaque when I was expecting something more sheer. Wine is like a burgundy lipstick, which is fine, but a little too brown for me. Avoid Peach at all costs! Others stated that it's orange, which would have been fine with me. Nope. It's actually yellow! Looks like Dijon mustard on the lips. I can only use it under a dark lipstick, which again, makes another useless purchase.
