Eight Ball Kids' 8+ Pad Set 3pk - Black: Elbow, Knee, Wrist Protection

I’ve had these pads for roughly 4 months. I started having an issue with the velcro staying fastened early on, probably a couple months into using them. For all intents and purposes, the wrist pads are literally falling apart at this point. The pieces of plastic that are supposed to support your wrist no longer want to stay in because where they were stitched in is no longer stitched (I will attach a picture). Which means the plastic piece falls out sometimes when I go to put them on and will not stay in once the velcro randomly unfastens (sometimes while I’m riding my scooter). If I bend my wrists even a little, the velcro comes open and also randomly comes undone just while riding my scooter without even moving my wrists. The velcro will also randomly snap open on the kneepads. I have to constantly stop and slow down on the scooter just to make sure my gear is fastened. Everyday use of this product shouldn’t result in this severe of wear and tear unless the product is poor quality.

Does not fit my daughter correctly, slides off her arms after a few minutes of movement during skating.

Option of different colors would be nice. But overall they are sturdy and my grandson loves them.

They slide when you fall they slide off everything else is fine except the knee pads

Wrist guards are well made with plastic splint on both sides of hand. The wrist guards fit me perfectly but I am a 39 yo woman and 160 lbs. Knee & elbow pads fit me, too. This 8+ set was enormous on my 7 year old son. How much larger is the 14+ set?! The 8+ set should be smaller & have more velcro on the straps to increase adjustability. The Wipeout 5+ set sold here at Target fit my son perfectly & also have excellent wrist guards with double splint.

Bought these for both my 6 and 7 years old. My kids are bigger than normal kids their age so these fit really well. One of my son recently broke his wrist bones so I really like that it also included wrist guards.

Full coverage full protection for a 9 year old in adult size which is 8+. Son is at skateboard camp and he has fallen and says he's felt nothing or hurt anything where pads are protecting. they seem very durable. very pleased. Have purchased others that didn't last long as these are lasting. I would definitely but again.

Great for an 8year old girls!!!!! Daughter says the adjustable straps don’t “hurt” her. She doesn’t walk like Frankenstein & best of all ......when she’s practicing and she falls....they protect her!!!!

A little loose even with adjustment so it falls, but still functional. My daughter us in the thinner side however it works well over clothes.

I’m 5’4 107lbs and these are so big. To get them to fit right I have to adjust past the Velcro. I could make them work but def loose. The quality is alright since I’ll just be cruising in my roller skates but for more advance skating I’m not sure these will do much.

I bought 2 sets of this protective gear, one for each of my daughters (13 and 10) for roller skating. The gear fit them very well and seemed to work pretty well too, as they both fell at different times. I think the inclusion of the wrist guards is a great feature since I've seen sets that didn't include wrist guards, which is an overlooked item in my mind. That would also be an additional purchase one would have to make. The quality seems to be pretty good with this gear. It seemed easy for the girls to put on and was adjustable as well so that helps.

I’m a 21 y/o female whos 5’5 and 135lbs (for reference) and these pads are pretty big. The main issue is the straps, they’re too long so it’s not a snug fit, it’s loose which sucks. I’ll try and slip on a knee brace I have to see if it’ll help, but other than that I can’t wait to actually try these out.

It’s great! I’m 16, around maybe 5”2, and these fit me just fine. I wanted to write a review because there’s like no teens in the review, so skater teens, they fit pretty well, and they are adjustable. The knee pads though are kinda big but eh, more protection I guess. Only down side is that the wrist guards prevent hand movement but whatever it takes to protect my wrists.

These are perfect for my 10 Yr old daughter, she's rollerblading and the wrist guards are especially important!

These fit really well. I have a 14 and 11 year old. Because they are velcro they are adjustable. So far so good
