Q: Does the switch go from one bulb, three bulbs, four bulbs to off? Of does does the switch cycle so that the lamp clicks to off between each higher setting (i.e., one bulb, off, three bulbs, off, four bulbs, off)?

A: Hi - there is no cycling or off function between the clicks. You get one bulb on, then three bulbs on and so on. There is no pause in between. Thank you for the question.

Size
I had to replace the lap from my childhood. This one looked close to it, or so I thought. Somehow I missed the size of the top bowl. It’s bigger than what it looks like in the picture. It’s like having a seat sitting ontop of a post.

Total Disappointment!
Very disappointed in this purchase. First off there is no dimmer on the lamp and even the lowest setting is too bright! I would change the bulbs however I cannot find these strange-type bulbs being sold anywhere! Total waste of almost $400!

This is a fantastic lamp. Higher quality definitely! The lines are smooth, quality of metal, assembly, and variable light intensities are seamless and smooth. Looks even better to me than I would have expected at this price. Highly recommend!!!

This lamp looks exactly like one I bought several years ago. But it uses LED lamps instead of fluorescents. Much more light for less wattage.

Flickering lamp
I had this lamp for more than 5 months now and it flickers too frequently because of a bulb or connector issue. Not having a standard bulb connector is also causing a problem where you can't troubleshoot easily what the issue is (due to limited bulb selection).

We love this lamp! We needed to brighten a basement room and this did the trick. The quality is wonderful, and it really emits a large amount of light. We tried initially to get away with a cheaper uplight, but it was not sturdy or pretty. It also did not produce enough light for this dark room. We should have bought this first… worth every penny!
