Do not ever submerse wooden toys in water or place in a dishwasher. Disinfectants (even organic baby wipes), should not be used as they can damage the water based protective coatings applied to protect the stains or paints beneath.

The first time we played it, I wasn’t sure about it because it is extremely simplistic compared to their other games that are more balanced and enjoyable for my husband and I as well as the kids. That all changed when my 4year old son asked to play with it on his own. He got his 3year old sister and 2year old brother to play with him and they sat on the floor for at least an hour making their own rules and taking turns fishing. I leave the game set apart from our other board games where the kids can reach it to play with whenever they want and it really works out. My oldest son says it’s his favorite. The pieces are exactly what we’ve come to expect from HABA; beautiful, high quality pieces with a good weight to them. Sturdy and absolutely adorable! I highly recommend this game if you have kids who like playing together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased this wonderful game twice now - two different 2 year old granddaughters - and they love it! It is such a flexible game to play with them and the girls love rolling the large die (no worries about them putting it in their mouth) and they LOVE the fishing pole and catching the fish. We haven’t advanced to the matching pieces in the boards yet but it will be a fun next step. Very well made and so colorful. I will be purchasing more games from Haba for sure!

My toddler is almost 2 years old and he got bored of the game very quickly. Also, this game only came with ONE fishing pole. The starting age of this game is 2. Kids that young want their own fishing pole!

This is an awesome game! Easy. fast paced so the kids stay interested. They LOVE to use the magnetic pole to fish. The puzzle pieces are a great challenge for them to recognize shapes. I thought the 5 year old would be bored but he was right there in the game! Love this game.

This game is so simple and fun. It's perfect for my almost two year old. Right now, we use it mainly for free play and color practice. I'll say catch the green fish, and he'll proceed to catch it, etc. I love that we can keep adding difficulty to it as he gets older and can comprehend it as more of a board game. I also had an issue with my original product--two of one fish and no purple octopus--and I reached out to customer service who sent a new one very quickly. Great customer service!

I bought this from my 18 month old granddaughter. It’s great for eye hand coordination and color identification. And it’s nice and Bulky so there’s no parts she can swallow. When she gets a little older will be able to use the dice that goes with it and the puzzle component.

She knows her colors so matching the fishes are fun for her. We aren’t playing by the rules just yet because she doesn’t understand that part but she is having a blast. The pieces are nice and sturdy and seem to be great quality.

We are really playing following the rules yet, but we take turns and he has a great time. It keeps him busy quite some time by himself as well. It is made of really nice wood and the pieces are big enough to not have to worry about anything. Great quality. HABA sure does not disappoint. It is one of our favorite games.

She doesn’t quite get the matching game that you can do with the puzzle pieces yet. I love that the magnetic pieces are wooden and that the game board is actually the box itself.
