Q: What is the age range for this paint set?

A: This is a craft paint set for kids listed under the kids' crafts section, so I wouldn't go by the other answer that says adults only. It says it is non-toxic so it should be safe for younger kids who might get it on themselves accidentally. The age range depends on supervised use versus unsupervised use. Young children could use it WITH an adult who will keep it out of their eyes and mouth or from getting all over the walls. Older children could use it on their own. Hopefully not on the walls. Age range depends on your comfort level as the adult present. And luckily tempera paint is washable (water soluble) and will come off of most things (including walls).

Worst packaging
The container is incredibly difficult to open. I had multiple able-bodied adults try to open the containers I had bought to make sure I was not the problem. We were able to struggle and open a couple of colors but had to give up on most to avoid injuring our fingers. Take it from me and buy another brand.

Some containers were almost empty
This review is not for the product itself, the product is great. However, the quality control of the company is seriously lacking. I bought this and opened it up the next day for my 3 year old and several of the paints barely had any paint in them. I already knew something wasn't right when there was clearly dried paint around the edges of the containers and I could see the very bottom of the containers inside with a little pit of paint around the sides. It did not look like someone had opened the box before, so I can only assume this was quality control that missed this, very disappointing.
