Description
Basal Body Temperature (BBT) is your temperature when you are fully at rest. It is taken immediately upon awakening before any activity. Unlike traditional thermometers, basal body thermometers can measure with increased accuracy to easily detect your fertile window.
The BBT temps will likely surge right after ovulation, with 0.4°F-1.0°F or more shift.
The Easy@Home EBT-100 Digital Basal Thermometer is sensitive enough to measure subtle changes in body temperature with the high accuracy of ±0.09°F，and only takes about 90 seconds for the reading with proper use. The free Premom app can automatically chart your reading inputs and draw your coverline, a visual tool to help you identify your BBT shift. And with Premom you will have unlimited measurements in the cloud.
Note: Users MUST manually enter temperature in the Premom app with this non-bluetooth enable model.

Q: How easy is it to change the battery? Some thermometers have battery compartments that are very difficult to open.

A: Dear Valued Customer, Thanks for your question. To prevent accidental removal of the battery cover by children, it is designed to be difficult to dismantle. However, for adults, it may not be so challenging to open. The battery is positioned next to the power switch button, and you can readily replace it by removing the circular plastic cover whenever necessary. I hope the information helps. Q: Can this be used orally for measuring fever, and is it accurate for that purpose?

A: Hello, Yes, please know you may still use this unit to take a regular fever temperature. A basal body thermometer will be more sensitive than a fever thermometer, and will register to a more precise degree measure than a fever thermometer. Measures Basal Body Temperature (BBT) to 1/100th of a degree precision (e.g. 97.41 F) in Fahrenheit or Celsius. I hope you find this most helpful. Inconsistent.
