Guests appreciate the convenient pump packaging and the effectiveness in keeping skin hydrated without a greasy feel. However, some guests express disappointment over a recent formula change, which they feel has negatively impacted its performance. Overall, it remains a popular choice for daily skincare routines, especially during dry winter months.

Great, Easy, and Effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturizer is amazing, especially speaking as someone with sensitive skin. The formula is a great balance of both a thick and thin formula, but leans more towards the thin. No crazy scents either which I enjoy and easy application thanks to the pump.

Fragrance Free Fantastic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being fragrance free is a big plus for me, and it goes on very smoothly without feeling oily or sticky like many lotions. I mainly used it on my elbows and other dry issue spots.

Moisture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really am enjoying this lotion. I am a fair skinned red head and typically become super dry in the winter. This has helped protect my skin and keep it from getting rough and ashy.

30-year customer searching for a new brand
The new formula is awful! I would give it 0 stars if I could and am coming here to beg you to go back to the old formula. I used Lubriderm unscented in the winter and sensitive skin in the summer for over 30 years. I have carried bottles of it back in my luggage when I lived overseas. It was the only thing that worked. Now, I am looking for a new lotion, and Lubriderm has lost a customer who was willing to fill an extra suitcase with it to have it around the world. Why change a good thing? I echo the complaints about stickiness, lack of absorption, and balls of lotion that transfer to clothing (had to wash a black pair of pants twice to get it all out). Just absolutely awful. I'm so disappointed.

Awful
Why???!!! First of all, I'm 60 years old and have never in my life posted a review on a company's website about a product. In this case, I feel moved to tell you what a horrible decision it was to change the formula of the Daily Moisture Frangrance-Free Lotion. I have used the original formula for decades, and it was perfect. Now?? I just tossed three bottles in the trash and found a new product. Like some of the other reviews I've read, when I use it on my face and scalp it feels like my skin is peeling from all of the crud that is coming off of my skin. I would give it ZERO stars if that was an option. Please send me an email when you decide that you're reintroducing the 'Classic' Lubriderm and maybe I'll come back...

Worst Reformulation - Bring back the old Lubriderm
I’ve used this lotion and only this lotion for at least 15 years. A few months ago I started getting a rash that sent me to the doctor and neither of us could figure out what was causing it. I hadn’t changed anything and have been using all my products for years. In addition to the rash, the lotion was pilling every single time I used it. I looked up why it might be all of a sudden pilling and it was then I realized the lotion was reformulated. It all made sense. I stopped using it immediately and the rash went away. Of all the product changes I’ve experienced, this has been the most devastating. I have tried 4 other lotions at this point and none of them compare to the old Lubriderm formulation. The new formulation is more akin to every other lotion on the market that is sticky and never fully dries but is worse because it also pills and causes rashes. Aside from being so disappointed in the formula change and loss of the only good lotion, I’m also disappointed in the company for stacking their reviews by giving free products. Every single recent positive review is incentivized, effectively burying every actual review of the product, which are all negative and beg for the old formulation.

The new formula is awful. Adding shea butter has made this lotion unbearable, it’s like putting on greasy gloves. I can no longer use this product after decades as my go to lotion. So disappointed you fell prey to the “new coke” mentality. Please leave things that work alone.

I love this lotion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the pump style lotion, it makes it easy to apply. This lotion works well on my skin after showers to keep me moisturized. It also works well for my face and doesn’t break me out. It doesn’t have a scent so I can wear it with any of my perfumes.

Not as good as the old formulation!
The new formulation is aweful, too thick and doesn't absorb like the original formulation. I have used Lubriderm for a very long time and it was tterrific, but I won't buy it again.

It’s just okay.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my review and it was okay. I expected more out of it because it’s formulated by a dermatologist. The consistency was watery upon application to the skin. I did love that it’s unscented but I didn’t feel like it hydrated my skin. I’m not sure if I’d purchase.

It’s Okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the price of the product in comparison to the quality. It’s fragrance free which is a big W to me. It’s something I could see myself using on a daily basis.

I hate everything about it
I hate it. I used to buy the original version because it actually worked and worked well, but this new formula is trash. It doesn’t hydrate, it doesn’t moisturize, I can’t layer it because it pills on itself, I can’t use it with any other lotion because it pills even faster. It leaves my hands feeling like they’re coated in butter no matter how little I use. Like a dry touch slime that’s simultaneously sticky, and then my hands feel just as dry if not more dry after it’s soaked in. It’s terrible! Not to mention the one time I put it on my face in the tiniest amount, I broke out by the morning. If you’re going to completely ruin an already actually good product with a huge buyer base, just make a second product! That way we can still buy the one we like! I can’t use ANY of your products anymore! Literally none of them work now! I used to use this lotion every single day like a routine. And every single night I used it in combination with another moisturizer cream (which has ceramides in it) because my skin is dry as a desert, but I can’t do that now, and I don’t have anything to replace that combo with. The lotion was perfect as it was and did not need shea butter or ceramides. Unless the formula returns to how it was, I’ll never buy lubriderm again. Previously I would recommend the lotion to everyone I knew, especially if they had sensitive skin. I can’t do that now. In fact I have to tell them not to buy it. I can’t truly express in words how frustrated I am with this change. And then to look at the reviews on lubriderms website only to see that they’ve pulled pretty much exclusively 5 star incentivized reviews from a different website to boost their products rating… this brand has gone down the drain.

Go back to the old formula
The new formula is terrible. Too thick, too greasy, and when it dries on the skin it flakes off. Absolutely terrible! Please go back to the old formula that no one wanted you to change!! Get rid of this pro cerimide formula!!

Reformulated version, meh.
Although I like Lubriderm, I prefer their previous formula without the Shea butter and glycerin.. This reformulated version is too thick and causes breakouts now. It does not soak in like the old version. I hope it can be brought back as an option for purchase. For now, I’m in search of another brand that did what the old version did.
