  • A: Thank you so much for reaching out and for your interest in our pouches! To make our purees, we combine the ingredients in batches and bring them up to a non-boiling temperature. Then we blend into a smooth puree, fill the pouches, and place them in a large pressure cooker where they are held under heat and pressure for a short period of time. This type of manufacturing is known as retort processing, or in-container sterilization. It kills bacteria and makes the product shelf-stable without the need for preservatives or refrigeration—similar to home canning. Because the food is cooked inside the pouch, nutrition is retained, and studies have shown that pressure cooking can help preserve essential vitamins. Q: I know salmon is a Vitamin B12 group, so I am wondering why I don't see that under the nutrition facts? how much B12 is in one pouch?

  • A: Hi! The calculated B12 content per pouch is 1mcg. The main reason why we wouldn't include it on the pouch is due to space limitations.

    Smelly, but my baby loves it

    I don’t like it, but my baby loves it and it’s a great way to expose little ones to fish and also serve a nutritious meal! We started out with just the pouch, but now that our baby is older we mix it with quinoa, put it on toast, etc to add some texture.
