I don't understand why it's called moisture surge. Your skin will feel like an old sponge right after using and in the morning. I'm 65 with drier skin; perhaps that's the issue?

I use it every night! I have combo skin that gets too dry and get pimples but since adding it in after cleansing my face i haven't had any break outs! Keeps my skin hydrated without getting greasy!

I love this product and have been using it for 4 + years! Pros: - a little goes along way (usually buy 1 a year) - extremely hydrating would use in the morning and night but I found that the clinique moisture surge - great for people with dry skin and acne since it didnt break me out at all Cons - expensive: but if you buy clonique products you usually get samples and the product itself lasts a long time - wish there wasnt a twisty lid so it felt more sanitary when doing skincare

Beware! This product is marketed as allergen free but it contains red 4 and yellow 5. Synthetic dyes can cause allergic reactions and can be absorbed into the skin. I'm disappointed to see so many Clinique products containing synthetic dyes. This one also contains wheat which IS an allergen and people with Celiac's cannot use. This is a huge no for me!!

I received a sample size of this product as a free gift with purchase, and after a couple weeks of use, I honestly was so underwhelmed with it. I have a damaged moisture barrier causing irritated, dry, flaky skin around my chin, and sadly this mask did nothing to soothe it or provide extra hydration. Clinique's 72-hour lipid replenishing moisturizer worked much better for me, so I'll stick to that.

I love this product and highly reccomend! I use this after my cleanser with some Good molecules hylauronic serum underneath and by morning my skin is soft and supple. It has also dramatically reduced fine lines. Great product!! Get it.

I used to have uncontrollable combo skin until I took the time to find the right products. Dry, patchy, greasy… you name it and the wrong products would cause my eczema to flare up and why not throw a few pimples in there. This is one of the products I now regulalry use that has given my skin a healthy glow, balance, smoothness, less breakouts, and even soothes and helps to alleviate any eczema / dryness.
