Too too much
Far too much color. Even using just one touch of the brush is too much. It ends up looking like cheap streetwalker chique aesthetic.

My go to lipstick!
I’ve been obsessed with Black Opal products every since I started wearing their foundation in HS years ago! This matte lipstick is no different! I love the color and the way it goes on, just wish it was a little more stay proof but nonetheless the ONLY matte lipstick I use.

Waste of my money. It doesn’t even look like I have any lipstick on at all. Plus it made my lips feel super dry. Definitely won’t order any more lipsticks/gloss from here again.

Impressed!
I’m quite pleased with my first Black Opal lip! Super pigmented, not streaky at all, long-lasting color. There is DEFINITELY transfer though, all over my water bottle lol, but it still looks good! And it doesn’t pass the inner-lip “butthole†test, but honestly which lipstick does? Personally I found the formula to be a little drying but not unbearably so. Overall much better than MANY similarly priced liquid matte lips I’ve tried! I’ll totally be buying more shades! Another reviewer commented on how the Indigo shade is not really indigo and they are correct. I bought mine in-store so I knew exactly what I was getting: it looks exactly like it does in the product picture. This Indigo is more of a cold steely cobalt, which I really like, but if you’re looking for a warmer purple-blue, this isn’t the shade for you.

Holy Grail
I bought two shades in Berry Red and Chic Mauve and i love it! i was honestly a bit skeptical because its always hard to find a good matte shade online, but im obsessed with these. The color you see in the bottle is the color you get when you apply it on your lips. It has high pigment and it literally lasts all day. I have spent so much money trying to find a good matte lipstick like this that claims to last ALL DAY, but it never does and my lips always gets chapped or feels dry. This lipstick didnt do that for me at all. I did put a little lip balm before applying the lipstick because i was afraid it would feel dry but was I wrong. After the first use, i didnt need to apply any lip balm and still felt hydrated and soft. Def recommend these beautiful shades!

Nice but colors are deceiving...
I purchased this product in the shade “Indigoâ€, upon receiving it today I wasn’t disappointed per se but more...confused. With this shade I was expecting a beautiful deep blue-purple color but instead it was almost a straight cobalt blue On the bright side I do have a liquid dupe to the Fenty Beauty Lipstick in Clapback :) Theres also a little stickiness with the product but I dont mind it I would give 5 stars because I do like the product, but like the title says the colors are deceiving and slightly inaccurate
