Q: Has anyone put feet on the bottom to elevate these shelves off the floor? How did it work?

  • A: I have two of these two-cube bookshelves and two of the six-cube bookshelves, and I have added 4” metal legs to all of them. Six legs on the six-cube and four legs on the two-cube. I use these shelves to store my 12” vinyl records and have had no issues with stability. I gorilla glued the legs on as well as used very short screws. Keep in mind that the wood is not solid wood, so don’t put a lot of down pressure if you’re screwing in screws or you may end up “punching” the screw into the wood. Anyway, legs worked good for me.

    Perfect solution for the back closet storage area

    The back room closet had evolved from an extra storage space to the abyss from which nothing could be retrieved - until I bought two of these cube organizers! Suddenly, the extra Rigatoni and Mac and Cheese boxes (not to mention the chicken stock and coconut milk) were easy to find! Assembly was fun and relatively quick (a power tool was very helpful, if you have one). Highly recommended!

    It was a little hard to assemble it with the top and bottom positioned evenly but for the sale price it was good enough. I like the design and the simplicity. I purchased it to hold my daughter’s ballet stuff so it’s not sprawled all over the corner of her room. Purchased some Target plastic containers to hold her extra pointe stuff. Good buy, I recommend.

    2 Cube Organizer

    This cube organizer is exactly what it is. My daughter needed it to hold her records without paying a lot of money and this works. Fits them perfectly. Im not sure how it would hold over the months but it's something decent for now and won't have a lot of weight on it anyways.
