About the Book

"Mama and baby make a healthy and powerful team in this journey through pregnancy, fitness, and birth"--

Book Synopsis

Mama and baby make one incredible team in this new picture book from New York Times bestselling author and Peloton instructor extraordinaire Robin Arzón.

Before I met you, I dreamed of you. This is the story of how we first met.

Ultramarathons. Bike sprints. Squats and deadlifts. Naps. Kitchen dance parties! All of it is in preparation for meeting Pequeno, the "Little One" growing in this strong mama's belly. From first heartbeats and fluttery kicks to grinning grandparents and that first loud cry -- pregnancy might just be the biggest workout yet! But there's nothing this mom and new baby can't tackle together as a team.

New York Times bestselling author and Peloton Head Instructor Robin Arzón takes readers on sweat-packed journey through motherhood in this affirming and heartwarming celebration of mothers and parents everywhere.

About the Author

Robin Arzón graduated magna cum laude from New York University and Villanova University School of Law, and is the New York Times bestselling author of Shut Up and Run. As Vice President of Fitness Programming and Head Instructor at Peloton, she believes that sweat transforms lives, and her story is living proof. In 2020, she was named one of the most influential people on Fortune Magazine's 40 Under 40 list.

Addy Rivera Sonda is a Mexican illustrator, who loves color, learning, and exploring ways in which we could build a kinder and more sustainable world. Her biggest inspiration for drawing is that she knows that stories and art are slowly but surely changing the way people understand themselves and perceive others, building empathy, and a more inclusive world.

It's a love story specifically to ONLY her daughter

The storyline does not transfer from any mama to their daughter. As you read it gets VERY SPECIFIC about herself and her daughter. I was excited and preordered it but this just doesn't work... at all. Where's the strong mama empowerment? Too self centered.

I was so excited! I preordered it and received it today. I read it and I was disappointed. It’s a beautiful story and the illustrations are too, but it’s a story to her daughter. I was thinking it was going to be a story about A strong mama that anyone could read to their little one. I love all things Robin and Peloton but this was not it.
