Good Choice for a Portable A/C

I’m satisfied with this portable A/C unit. I took off one star because it is noisier than I hoped, but it does a decent job cooling and drying my small one-bedroom apartment, along with fans I already had. All my windows face north, so I don’t have direct sunlight to contend with. It was easy to install. My window was slightly narrower than the window assembly kit, but I used my utility knife to score the plastic piece and then snapped it off. Once that was done, I was able to install it with no problems. I did use duct tape to make sure the window and the hoses were sealed. I haven’t checked my energy usage yet to compare to my old window A/C.
