★★★★★ I put off trying this formula for quite a while because my daughter was doing well on Nutramigen and I was nervous to switch her. My daughter has a cow’s milk protein allergy and has done really well on this formula. The biggest benefit for us has been the cost savings compared to Nutramigen. There are a couple differences worth mentioning. The smell and texture are definitely different than Nutramigen and took me a little time to get used to. It can also clump a bit if bottles aren’t mixed thoroughly. We use a Baby Brezza, which seems to help, but I still give bottles a good shake before feeding. Overall, it’s worked really well for my daughter and has been a much more affordable option for our family. I’d recommend it to anyone considering making the switch from Nutramigen.

Do not buy!!!
Do not buy this formula the smell and texture alone turned me completely off it smells like saw dust and when mixed in a bottle it clumps up causing big yellowish green clumps that will not break up. My baby drank half a bottle and then refused anymore shortly afterwards he had diarrhea! Taking it back to the store and requesting to switch to his normal formula! I cannot believe this is being sold especially for babies that already have feeding issues.

Worth it even with the down sides.
This formula saved us from the awful time of reflux where any other formula made our baby scream, cough, and sputter for hours. Very grateful for it, but our store doesn't stock the smaller option that is covered by WIC. However, the clumping is annoying, but you get over it. The poop smell is outrageously nasty, but it's 100% worth it for a happy baby.

Affordable but at a much larger cost
Smell was terrible like it was a bad can of formula plus it clumped even when mixed in a formula pitcher. Clumps looked almost yellow-green like it was rotten formula. My baby was extremely uncomfortable when eating this formula with GI issues including excessive spit up & diarrhea. I wanted to love this product but I just can’t recommend it with the way it affected my son.

Best formula for sensitive babies
I love it. I tried all the formulas you can think of and my baby has had GI issues, full body hives and projectile vomiting. THIS up&up formula is a life saver. No more issues and I have wayyyy happier baby. A 1/4 of the price of Nutramigen and IT’S THE SAME THING. This is the only formula I buy now. Thank you Target!!!

So happy to find a more affordable option for my daughter. She had no issues switching to it from the brand named version and seems to digest it just fine. I read other reviewers that had issues mixing it, however, I’ve noticed it mixed very well in warm water. It does leave clumps when using cold water, but I found that same issue with the brand named version as well. We also use a baby breeze for her bottles unless we are out and about. If we hand mix, we use warm water and there are no clumps. Overall, it’s our formula of choice now due to the affordable price and daughter seems to like it as well.

WONT DISSOLVE
Formula is extremely clumpy and sticky. Will not dissolve. Scoop is found below the halfway point. My baby doesn’t like it. It’s very stinky and discolored. I was excited to find a more affordable option to the Nutramigen. It seemed all the vitamins dosages matched up. But wont be buying again.

The formula seems to be the same as the brand name at a much lower price. Our baby seems fine with the change. Two issues - the formula seems sticky compared to the name brand and the purple target brand can and it’s clumpy. I’ve been using a milk frother to dissolve the clumps. That has been working. I’ll keep using this brand since it’s saving us money feeding our twin boys.

the worst formula. does not mix and causes clumps which you cannot even feed to your baby. its very acidic and gave my baby horrible rashes and reflux. and my can litteraly didn’t come with a scoop had to buy another can just for a scooper. don’t waste your money just go for the pricier name brand.

This powder is impossible to dissolve, no matter how much you shake it settles on the bottom. I also do not appreciate the side of the can stating breast-fed is best obviously someone is using this hypoallergenic formula. There’s a reason they’re not breast-feeding. Never thought I’d see mom shaming from target.

Reasonable price
My baby has very bad diarrhea since he got stomach bug from daycare. Our Ped recommended switch to soy based but diarrhea still not getting better also he developed bad rash in his face and body I think due to the soy. We decided to try hypoallergenic formula and this brand is reasonable price and it does help. Compare to regular formula this one doesn’t mixed well but we use milk frother to resolve the issue.
