It’s gentle, tear-free, and has a light scent that isn’t overpowering. My child’s hair feels soft, tangle free, and very easy to manage after wash days. I love that it’s hypoallergenic and formulated with oat extract, making it safe for sensitive skin and scalp. The bottle design is also super cute and easy for little hands to hold. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this product on my daughter since I absolutely love almost everything from Aveeno — it’s one of our favorite brands at home. The idea of a 2-in-1, gentle and practical product really caught my attention. The scent is truly pleasant: soft, delicate, and not overwhelming at all, which makes bath time extra nice. The formula is light, cleanses well, and feels a bit more hydrating than a regular shampoo. However, a couple of things didn’t work as well for us. Even though it’s labeled “tear-free,” it did sting my little one’s eyes, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the conditioning effect wasn’t as strong as I expected — it doesn’t work like a real conditioner. It helps with detangling, but the hair doesn’t feel as soft or nourished as it does when using a separate conditioner. Overall, it’s a nice hydrating shampoo for kids, with a lovely gentle fragrance and a mild formula for daily use, but it doesn’t fully replace a proper conditioner if your child’s hair needs extra care.

I haven't been able to find anything thag didn't have a overall strong scent and that didn't weigh down his hair. I decided to give this a chance and I have to say its been possibly my top favorite. Not a overbearingly strong 'candy or sweet' smell like most others available near me. With that its been hydrating and has helped his hair curl more in the front than it used to. Little goes a long way with this too. Defently on my 'need to get again' list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, this 2–1 has been a huge hit in our house. Our five year old hasn’t never had a haircut so as you can imagine her hair is VERY long (probably 2 feet). We’ve traditionally use Honest brand shampoo and conditioner. While we like it, our daughter complains about the two step process because she’s concerned about get her eyes “burned”. This product streamlines that process and does a quality job. Some of it even dribbled down my daughter’s face and she proudly shouted “it doesn’t burn!”. Also, while the product is hypoallergenic it does have a pleasant aroma. Once our daughter’s hair dried, brushing it out was a breeze too (BIG BONUS). Will be buying again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo didn’t feel very thick or heavy, so I was surprised it made a substantial lather. I normally need to scrunch or style her hair a bit after a bath for her natural curls to take over, but it curled on its own as it dried—I suspect because the shampoo wasn’t adding weight. No tangles, very easy to comb (I normally use a leave-in conditioner and a hair detangler, but didn’t feel the need to this time). Hair felt almost as soft as when I use a heavy conditioner. I couldn’t smell any scent. This product costs a little more than the shampoo/conditioner we normally use, but it’s probably about the same if we don’t have to buy a leave-in conditioner and detangler anymore. The only criticism is that my 3-year-old daughter really resisted using it at first because it didn’t have a cartoon character on the bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure how much I liked this kids shampoo/conditioner at first. The scent isn't bad but it also isn't pleasant. It is gentle like the label says, very light scent, just not nice to me. HOWEVER once my daughter's hair dried, the scent went away. So my baby just smells like my baby, not perfume. It's clear, almost gel consistency, and a little goes a long way. I used too much (see bubbly head photo). It does look a bit like clotted milk floating on the water, not sure if this is the new normal for baby products. After the bath (grey top photo) you can clearly see her curls, normally I have to fluff her hair to get them to show. This shampoo/conditioner made her hair very soft. The next day (white shirt photo), after sleeping and playing and eating and being a baby, her curls are still well defined and no frizz! It's been a couple days since using this and after rinsing her hair and regular baby antics her curls are still looking good and the crown of her head hasn't completely frizzed out. So 5 stars because of the soft, curly results and the disappearing scent.
