Description
Extra Strength Toenail Clipper with wide jaw opening precisely cuts large, thicker toenails while reducing the risk of splitting and ingrown nails. Large handle provides added strength, comfort and control.
Soften thick toenails by soaking your feet for 10 minutes in warm water.
Lift up and rotate lever of clippers.
Clip nails into the desired shape by starting at the corners and clipping toward the center. Clip in small increments to reduce splitting.
Next, clip the center to finish the shape. This will apply less stress on the natural nail and help prevent the chance of splitting while clipping.
Finish by gently smoothing the nail edges with a nail file.

Way too bulky, creates jagged edges
If you have trouble clipping your toenails because they’re really thick and other toenail clippers aren’t strong enough to cut through them, you might like these. They are definitely strong. However, while they do generate a lot of force, they aren’t very sharp—I always end up with jagged edges when I use these clippers. Also, they’re SUPER bulky, and I often have a hard time controlling them and seeing what I’m doing, which leads to me accidentally clipping off too much of my toenail. I’d skip these toenail clippers and instead opt for something that is sharper and easier to maneuver and doesn’t just rely on brute force.

These big, good looking nail clippers barely cut through toenails (and that's with great difficulty). They seem quite sharp yet do not cut well at all! I have 30-year old Revlon toenail clippers that do a better job. I will not buy another Tweezerman product.

Straight edge, not sharp.
Bought two of these yesterday. Opened the first one and realized immediately that it had a straight cutting edge, not a curved one. I hate that, but it was too late. I cut my thumbnail and found it quickly that it wasn’t even sharp. I dropped it in the trash and returned the other one.
