  • A: No. I bought it headed out the door on a trip and it comes with a USB A charger. Useless. I have a base at home but it’s useless if I’m not there. Now I have to scrounge up a USB-A charger or buy an ac adapter. Not happy.

    Not the best - Stop the need for Smart phone

Not only does it give me a smooth shave, it also leaves my face feeling super soft in just an hour when I'm not in a hury. Even though, it can be used wet or dry, I prefer to use it dry, since dry is easier to clean.

Happy to say he was so proud to be able to get a smooth shave with shaver, easy to handle, no more shaving cream, changing costly blades! it has easy clean out, well designed for handling, lights up indicating charge. Just could not be happier that it resolved his frustration for his daily routine!

    Good shave but lousy sideburn trimmer

It seems to take me a little longer to shave but that’s because I’m trying to get a close even shave so I do a lot of little circles in both directions. I gave it 4 stars because I do not like the sideburn trimmer. I don’t think it works as well as others I’ve had in the past.

    Very Nice Shaver

    The shaver is nice. I’ve been using Norelco triple-header shavers since the 1980’s, and I prefer them above other brands. My main complaint with Philips is that the new models are underpowered. Still, I like the features of this shaver, and the cleaning pod is an excellent addition. The app is crap, something they slapped together because somebody in marketing decided they needed an app to constantly nag the user to buy more products. The upside is that you don’t need the app to get the benefits of this great shaver.

    Good shaver that could have been great!

    The product gives probably the best shave of any shaver I've ever had. It is let down considerably by poorly designed head that allows the inner edges to catch on skin (especially on a chubby face) and flip out of place. I get this maybe twice every shaves. Also, who on earth said let's give the outer edges a squared off, thick (thicker than the inside edges) profile that prevents access to the nasal area like the previous models allowed with ease. I love the shave quality. I hate the ergonomics!

    Nice Improvement Over Series 5000

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A replacement for my 8-yr old series 5000 Norelco shaver. Shaves very well, seemingly closer than my old razor. I like the cleaning pod with cleaning solution a lot! I also like that the sideburns trimmer is integrated into the shaver and not a separate attachment. Also seems to charge faster than my 5000 series and the charge seems to last longer too.

Using the pop-up trimmer is difficult because it is hard to avoid the on/off button when using it. Also, you need to use at an angle, it will cut off--it is not possible to get the trim needed when the trimmer must be perpendicular. In general the design is not as good as Philips Norelco S6810.
