  • A: No. I bought it headed out the door on a trip and it comes with a USB A charger. Useless. I have a base at home but it’s useless if I’m not there. Now I have to scrounge up a USB-A charger or buy an ac adapter. Not happy.

    Nice Improvement Over Series 5000

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A replacement for my 8-yr old series 5000 Norelco shaver. Shaves very well, seemingly closer than my old razor. I like the cleaning pod with cleaning solution a lot! I also like that the sideburns trimmer is integrated into the shaver and not a separate attachment. Also seems to charge faster than my 5000 series and the charge seems to last longer too.

Using the pop-up trimmer is difficult because it is hard to avoid the on/off button when using it. Also, you need to use at an angle, it will cut off--it is not possible to get the trim needed when the trimmer must be perpendicular. In general the design is not as good as Philips Norelco S6810.

    I have owned and used Norelco razors for over 40 years and this 7000 series gives a nice close shave. But it take more time and more passes over my face to get the nice shave. My old 6000 series did just as good and much faster when it was newer. This razor has too much surface around the heads to get close to existing facel hair like mustache or goatee. I've been using this razor for 2 weeks. The program they want you to use is for new user and it's not that great because not all faces are the same.

    Overall disappointing, expected better shave

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blades are set back too far from the edge. Very difficult to shave close under nose. I do not find shaving above my lips to give a close shave. Hairs are missed. Same issue using for sideburns. Difficult to gauge how close you are to bottom of sideburns. The recommended circular motion does not appear better, in fact seems to miss some hairs. Disappointed Product did not come with charging/storage stand. Cleaning is easy. Trim blade is wider and better than old model.

    A close and comfortable shave.

The shave is the closest and smoothest shave i have ever had it shaves as good as a razor blade cut. I shave every other day and I could probably go one more day. Great shaver.
