A: Thank you for your question. All beaters, dough hooks and milkshake attachments are chrome-plated. Whisks are stainless steel, except for the shaft which is chrome-plated. We recommend washing all attachments by hand and drying them immediately to prolong life.

Mixed Feelings
I really REALLY wanted to love this mixer, I did extensive research before buying this specific mixer. I didn’t think the slow start would be that big of a deal, however when I was making my first dish with this mixer using the lowest speed it flung the ingredients EVERYWHERE!! I had the mixer in the bowl fully and correctly. This also was probably just me, but I thought for some reason the beaters were silicone and they aren’t at all. They are a hard plastic which is extremely loud, as is the mixer itself. It does an amazing job with cookie dough though with the speed. It had no issues whatsoever in that dept.

I haven’t used it yet but so far looks very nice. I am disappointed that the product documentation or website does NOT specify what easy clean beaters are made of, such as plastic, nylon or silicone.

Feels sturdy. Love the compartment that keeps everything together. Low speed is not low enough. Mixer bogs down and almost stops when mixing chocolate chip cookie dough. Does not sit well on counter
