Never buy refurbished tech from Target
I will never purchase a refurbished device from Target again. It seemed fine out of the box, set it up, turned it back off and wrapped it, and gave it to my daughter for her birthday. By the time she opened it and used it enough to drain the battery, the fourteen day return period was already over. (I didn’t even get the iPad until half way through the return window, which starts at purchase, not upon receipt.) The charger doesn’t fit into the port, which is somehow damaged and too narrow for lightning charger. I’ve spoke to eight people on the phone and been transferred all over the place trying to get someone to honor the six month warranty. It’s been like pulling teeth trying to get any information at all, my daughter now has no birthday present, and I’m still fighting for an answer. Target customer service has been totally useless since they don’t actually sell the iPads, they came from a vendor called Hyland Mobile that Target contracts with. I felt safe buying a refurbished certified item from a large retailer like Target and it’s been an absolutely failure. NEVER again. By the time I pay to get this functioning it will cost more than buying a brand new one would have and there is no escalation path at Target to actually get help.

Why Buy New if Refurbished is Just as Good!?!?
I was a little hesitant to buy refurbished, but this Target Certified iPad was totally worth it. It arrived in great shape—just a couple of barely noticeable marks—and it works like new. The screen is super clear, it's fast thanks to the A13 chip, and the battery life has been solid so far. I mainly use it for streaming, reading, and drawing with with the Apple Pencil in Procreate, and it handles everything with no issues. If you're looking for a reliable iPad without paying full price, this is a great option. It feels like a brand new device for a much better value. Highly recommend + having a 6 month limited warranty is nice safeguard as well.

Horrible packing and missing charger
Extremely poor packing. iPad was taped with thin tape to the inside of the box with no packing paper or bubble wrap. If someone wanted to still the item it would’ve been so easy. Also came with no charger.

Terrible Packaging!
The package arrived on time and in good condition however whoever is packaging these products especially Apple products need to be retrained or fired! My iPad was just laying on a cardboard cutout with nothing but a plastic cover over the two! Thank God it came in undamaged but when I heard something sliding around I knew something was off! Do better!

Not a good deal at all. I purchased it and less than 30 days later the Home Screen button stopped working. Was told you only 15 days to return even if defective….very disappointed in Target’s policy in this area.

My ipad has no marks or scratches, excellent condition. The charging cord and block was in the box, unused. The package was a box, the iPad was wrapped with an additional cardboard inside. So no bubble wrap but it arrived harmless! Very happy for the price! At 25% off with an additional 5% off with my target card!

Refurbished iPad - Excellent Choice
I am so happy with my purchase. I waited for the 256GB refurbished iPad to go on sale. It looks brand new, no marks or scratches, easy to setup, battery life last for like 2-3 days, touch screen works like it suppose to, no freezes or lags, the price was reasonable, an overall a excellent product. I would defininately reccommend the refurbished iPad from Target. Why buy "New" when you can get a like new product for a lesser price. :) - Buy it, you will be happy too!
