it works good enough for the low price point. the only disappointment was receving a white vacuum instead of the blue one i ordered. but since that doesn't affect performance, it's fine. I can live with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have voided the warranty ten fold on this thing! I have been using it for 6 years with no issues. I replaced the head once (which was my own fault). 6 Years in and still use this daily in my house.

This seemed promising as a low-cost replacement for our trusty Dyson. My husband has severe allergies to dust mites so we needed something with bags and a HEPA filter, and this model fit the bill. However, when we received it, it feels cheaply made, the vacuum head doesn’t flow smoothly over our carpet (it’s a battle to just push it, making it way more labor intensive than the heavy upright) and even the max suction has little to no power— I can go over and over the same spot on our rug multiple times and it still doesn’t pick up obvious pieces of dirt and grass. Back to the Dyson and lots of sneezing until we can save up for a better vacuum.

The only thing I would add is a differentiation between the power button and the cord retraction button as I keep hitting the wrong one. I colored my n the power with a silver sharpie and fixed it-see picture.

Just what I wanted, with the exception of the small bag size. Nice long cord and metal extendable wand. Love that the filters can be cleaned. So far the dust full indicator has not turned red, and after using 4/5 times, the bag is still good and maintains strong suction. Maybe wish the floor tool had a little longer brushes (for use on hardwood floor and rugs). Would like Target to carry replacement bags for this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high-powered vacuum that is also quiet and lightweight, a very good deal for the price point. The carpet tool is not an electric motorized brushroll, but rather one that utilizes a turbo drive (air driven). If you experiment and learn how a turbo head works, you will find that it performs just as well as a motorized head on low-pile carpet. (Hint: It actually works better with slightly decreased suction.) It's perfect for a household with some low-pile carpet or area rugs but mostly hard floors and a multitude of surfaces. The collection bag is roomy and well-filtered so you won't have to change it very often. I didn't think I would care about being able to adjust the motor speed, but I find it is the feature I love the most! The decreased motor speed is great for light rugs and avoiding an arm wrestle when the vacuum grabs the object you are trying to clean! I would have given it all stars but the three included hand tools were wimpy and small (light-duty). At this price point it probably makes sense. It's really not a big deal because I think most of us have our favorite tools that we already have or will seek out to pair with this beast. Keep in mind that the hose will default to 35mm tools (the larger size, common with Miele, Shark, Sebo, etc.) but you can buy an adapter that will convert to 1-1/4" standard central vac size, of which there are a plethora of affordable tools available everywhere, including the industry leader, Wessel-Werk. Prolux would do their customers a service by selling the adapter themselves (including the button lock on the hose end), so customers know they can pair this bad boy with the vast selection of 1-1/4" attachments. I have had this machine for a month, using it about three days a week. So far I have not encountered any quality issues. I like that the company is US-based (Utah), and they seem to be very responsive whenever I have a question. If someone stole my vacuum, I would buy another Tritan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my vacuum and am pleased with the performance. I especially like the hard floor piec and the retractable cord. The cord had some difficulty retracting but hopefully will get better with use. The improvement I would make is to have a different color of some sort on the power button so it stands out from the rewind cord putting. I will solve that by putting a sticker on that side. Overall happy with this purchase.

It's lightweight, quiet and has amazing power. The cord is long so you can cover more distance. It also retracts easily. The suction is adjustable and the wand telescopes to adjust to different heights. It's just what I wanted. Very happy with my purchase

I love this Vac! It is very powerful yet quieter than my old one. It is super light and goes all over my house.

After I saw its amazing sucking power to pick up dust on his hardwood floors, he bought me one. We get constant winds here in Northern New Mexico and I've been through several brands of vacuums. The Tritan is not only quiet it is powerful in cleaning up throw rugs, saltillo tiles, and hardwood floors--dust, dirk, ashes, and dog hair. I love this vacuum!

This vacuum makes it super easy to get under tables, beds, dressers, etc. The swivel really helps this! The only struggle is keepin g the tools attached. Wish there was a place on the front the vacuum

The foot pedal to swap from hard wood flooring to carpet/rugs is so helpful. The bags are very well made so I usually empty a few times before replacing so that's an added savings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Prolux Tritan arrived in November of 2022, and I have found it convenient and easy to use. I especially like the retractable cord and the very powerful, adjustable suction. I use it to clean the filters in other appliances as well a floors, carpets and furniture. Emptying dirt bag is very easy. Manual that came with it needs improvement but there is a very helpful video on youtube.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Tritan Vacuum about 6 weeks ago and are so glad we did. We were immediately surprised at how powerful AND quiet the machine is. The 5 speeds and powerful suction from the motor allows us to use a lower speed for most of our cleaning (more than adequate, actually) and then have higher speeds available on those occasions when needed. The high suction with quiet operation demonstrates the quality engineering that went into the design of the vacuum. Every feature seems well thought out. The unit is very rugged. But for us, the most gratifying feature is the clean output air. We have both allergies and asthma. The Tritan has improved both conditions more than anticipated, much more than I would have believed possible! We highly recommend the Tritan to anyone needing a canister vacuum.
