  • A: I was having the same issue. I purchased this in January and finally early this month with the help of my boyfriend and myself, we were able to unscrew it, it was so hard. But I think it’s not meant to be unscrewed because it just started to leak real bad each use, it got worse after each use.

Great blender

Nothing like a good ol traditional glass blender. I was so tired of my plastic one. Even the nice pricey ones get mold here and there and are so hard to take apart. This one is a solid glass jug and all the pieces come apart easily for cleaning. Works just as expected. Very happy and can't beat the price.

I would give this a zero if I could

I would give this a zero star if I could. First off all barely crushes normal fruit not frozen and hard to clean under blades. Used maybe 5 times and the stabilizers on bottom broke and it cracked down the bottom side. Money better off spent on something else.

It started smoking and quit shortly after trying to make a shake. It said it could blend ice. It didn’t look new, the tape job was poor obviously repackaged but everything was there.

Breaks easily

Poor Durability, Faulty Lid Design, and Terrible Carafe

I’ve had this blender for about a year. At first, I thought it was a decent product for the price, but the lid design is terrible, the blades spin with so much force that liquid shoots out of the center pour hole, even with the cover pressed down. Yesterday, I tried the ice-crushing feature for the first time and the impact of the ice actually punctured a one-inch hole in the side of the carafe. To make things worse, the carafe has never been easy to lock into the base, and that issue got progressively worse over time. I do not recommend buying this blender.
