Faulty compressor that cannot be replaced
We purchased the fridge four years ago based on attractive looks and overall reviews. It was more expensive than other brands. It never received much use because it was a bar fridge in our basement rec room that didn't get used a lot. The compressor quit working this spring and I was told it could not be replaced. I also tried to see if it was anything else (loose wires, etc.) without success. Disappointed it only lasted four years and is now in a landfill.

Problematic and now dead
We bought this beverage cooler about 6 years ago. Within the first year a cooling fan failed. Newair sent a replacement fan at no charge but it was not the correct fan after 2 more attempts we received the correct fan. Had to pay a refrigerator tech to install it. Newair DOES NOT have service technicians. A different Fan failed a year ago. We replaced it. A few weeks ago the unit quit cooling and was actually warm. This time we contacted our home warranty company. A technician came out and reported the compressor had failed. Parts not available from the manufacturer to repair the unit. So now it is useless. In addition, the cooler was always noisy. We will get another beverage cooler but it WILL NOT BE A NEWAIR brand. We will buy a name brand which has service technicians and stands behind their product.

Unit Died Less Than 2 Years!!
I cannot recommend these units. My unit died in less than 2 years of use. The unit stopped cooling and when I contacted newair they offered to send out a new temperature sensor. This did not fix the issue and another call to newair informed the unit had a cooling system issue. I had the unit diagnosed at a local appliance repair who identified that the compressor was not longer working. New air doesn't offer parts to fix any cooling system issue so the unit is garbage at this point. New air offered me 40% another unit that would end up costing me more than I paid for the unit initially in 2022. Very disappointed and cannot recommend these units.

It was great initially...
Had this unit for a few months until frost buildup started occurring at the back of the unit. We would fully defrost and it kept happening. Waiting replacement unit now and I am really hoping we do not have the same issue again.

We've used this fridge daily for about 4 years, before the power control board went out. Newair has been helpful in replacing the part. Although the minimum temperature only goes down to 37 degrees, we've been happy with the unit for primarily beverage cooling and overflow refrigeration during entertaining.

Cool and Quiet
I bought this unit as part of a kitchen renovation. It is a stand-alone unit that perfectly fits a 24" space under the counter and is super quiet. The blue LED light adds nice ambiance at night. After taking out the top shelf, I keep beer bottles upright on the top shelf and fill the rest with soda cans and water bottles. It is constantly being opened and closed and as long as you keep bottles from piling up against the back there is no problem with icing. After 3.5 years of heavy use it stopped cooling but Newair customer support talked me through troubleshooting using nothing but a thermometer and diagnosed it as a bad thermostat. The part is only $20 and I can replace it myself. I originally bought this unit on sale for about $500 and now I see similar units going for about $900. I am extremely happy with the product and the personalized customer support that I received from Charles!

Nice mini fridge
This is a nice unit that is easy to install. It gets cold quickly. My only complaint is that 37 degrees does not feel quite cold enough.

I would definitely buy another one.
Fridge works really well. It keeps all the drinks really cold. It also looks amazing with our other stainless steel appliances.
