This was a great price and working perfectly since I bought it in December. My husband uses it to workout and sleep and has had no problems with it nor the app he uses with it. He likes the design because it's comfortable to wear even to sleep in when he wants to monitor overnight.

    Item stolen from order!

It was stolen out of my delivery order and target made it VERY difficult to do anything about it!!! Therefore I can’t give it a review because I paid for it but never received it. Either the target employee packing my order swiped it or the delivery driver- which I feel is more likely.

    Vibrates incessantly after 3 months

I’ve had it for 3 months and it has worked fine. Now it has started vibrating for no reason over and over for several seconds. I contacted Fitbit and they’ve said it’s a known issue they are watching. Huh?

Hey there, Krista. We hear your concerns regarding vibration issues on the Charge 6. A factory reset may resolve this and make the device run like new — here’s how: 1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app. 2. On your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data. If you’re still having issues, reach out to us here: https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp?hl=en

Don't waste your money. I purchased my daughter one of Christmas 2025 and the band clasp broke already. Lasted roughly 2 months.
1 reply from FitBit Team team - 3 months ago
Hi there, B. We’re sorry to see you ran into trouble with the band on the Charge 6. The device has 2 detachable bands which allows for alternative bands and replacement bands — here’s how to change them: 1. Turn over your tracker and find the band latches. 2. To release the latch, use your fingernail to press the flat button toward the band. 3. Gently pull the band away from the tracker to release it. 4. Repeat on the other side. 5. To attach a band, press it into the end of the tracker until you hear a click and it snaps into place. The band with the buckle attaches to the top of the tracker. Great fitness tracker!

I got this as a Christmas gift from my daughter and I love it! I wasn’t sure that I wanted to wear it at first since I have not worn a watch for years, but it is very comfortable and after a day or two I didn’t even hardly notice I had it on anymore. Unlike another review I read, it seems quite accurate in the distance to me. And I like that it tracks my average pace and heartbeats per minute. I also like that it reminds me to move each hour, especially because I am retired now and can sometimes become too sedentary. Because this was a gift and I’m unsure what it costs, I am not sure about the value…but I would definitely recommend it!

The GPS on the Fitbit is not accurate. We went on a 3 mile walk and we know it’s 3 miles. We’ve done it for years and the Fitbit only recorded it as 2.51 miles.
1 reply from FitBit Team team - 5 months ago
Hey there, Mindi. We hear your concern regarding accuracy on the Charge 6. A weak GPS signal reduces route and activity data accuracy. Without GPS, the device estimates distance from step count, which may result in less accurate total workout distance. Wide eggshell band better than expected

I purchased this in store and was disappointed that there were no models out of the box to look at (it’s part of why I went to the store). I was hesitant to get the eggshell color because I thought it would get dirty and scuffed up. I’m pleasantly surprised that so far the band still looks good (it’s only been a little over a month, so there’s still time to be disappointed). This is like my third one of these in 6 years - wish they’d last longer! I also was worried that the wider band would be weird. My previous fitbit was a Luxe model so the band on this is like twice as wide. It’s not weird and I’ve come to appreciate the eggshell color. There were no protectors in store so I had to buy those online - highly recommend getting them because the face is not as resistant as the band to scuff marks.

    Not worth it.

It has a magnetic charger which I always have to fiddle with for like 2 minutes to make it charge. They hide a lot of features behind a 60 dollar a year membership. The phone pinging thing only works like 30 percent of the time. Bands are not good quality. They feel weird and have ac different texture after a few months wear. I really only like that the battery lasts five days. Will not ever get a Fitbit again. Used to like them before google ruined them.

We hear your concerns on wanting more consistent sleep tracking — here’s some troubleshooting to get your device running optimally: 1. Check if your sleep setting is set to Sensitive. If it is, change it to Normal. 2. For accurate sleep tracking, position your device 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone, ensuring a secure but comfortable fit. 3. Horribly inaccurate

Heart rate went through periods daily of being inaccurate (ex actual heart rate was 90 and it showed 52). Customer support was extremely unhelpful and said it can just differ from other devices, even though it was definitely showing the wrong pulse multiple times daily and hours on end.

Some things better, some things worse

I recently upgraded to a Charge 6 from a 3. While the 6 measures a host of new things (active load, cardio load, skin temp variations, etc) I could not figure out why it wasn’t recording the floors taken on stairs. Did a little digging online and found out Google discontinued the altimeter with the Charge 4. While not the end of the world, I can’t think of any good reason to take a feature like this away other than to save money in production, but still charge more for the product. Other than that the 6 so far has been fine- appreciate the easier to read watch face (my three was so dim I often couldn’t see it in daylight) which incorporates limited colors. Don’t care for the design of the band that comes in the box but an easy enough fix for $10 or less).

Hey there, Kayla. Good news! In the unfortunate event a band breaks, the Charge 6 allows you to swap bands easily — here’s how: 1. Don't buy poorly made

I has a fitbit Versa and it stopped working after google took over but to be fair ut was an older version. So I upgraded to a Charge 6 because I liked the hr tracking and sleep. It worked great until 11 month mark when it stopped completely just out of blue went blackbscreen and unresponsive. I had it under a year so fitbit after running through their check list if fixes, sent me a replacement. Now that two has died afew weeks ago. I just tried the unstable reinstall and the screen is a white fuzzy and gray lined no vibration, and can not reinstall cause I can not see screen for code to pair to my phone, lol. So now it is out of warranty so I am giving up and getting a different watch a Garmin or Samsung maybe. FYI I just read Google will only being updates for the versa through June 2026! So they will be phasing them out as suspected. I knew google would ruin fitbit.
