A: 10/14/25, been buying this in bulk for years, it is now ULTRA SCRATCHY and TWO disconected PLYS. IS THIS BECAUSE OF THE IGNORAMOUS TARIFFS? They are a pain in the butt and wallet.

A: It is July 2025 as I write this and they've done it again. The latest package has much smaller rolls and a different imprinted pattern on the rolls. Not happy.

A: I’ve been buying this toilet paper for years and all of a sudden over the last few months they’ve completely changed the material of it. It used to be ultra soft but now it’s ultra terrible! 

A: September 2025 - 244 sheets per roll. 284>264>244. The diameter of the center cardboard tube is also larger on the new rolls, making them seem bigger, but still visibly smaller than the 264 ct. rolls.

A: Yup. These stuff is absolute trash now. I’ve been buying it for years and the last few months it’s like it’s a completely different material too. Each roll is all messed up before I even bring it out of the package.

A: Shrinkflation. They've raised the prices and given you less product.

A: I never had an issue but yes the last 18 pack that I purchased in January of this year had a bug spray scent to it and I wouldn't have even known had it been for the bad irritation that I had discover

A: Cindy something I've learned is the majority of TP is septic safe. It's a matter of how quickly it breaks down in the tank. Most ultra toilet paper takes a while to break down= pumping tank more

A: Wow! Kate did a really crappy job answering you (pardon the pun)! Supposedly, Target has had a goal to get PFAS out of every up and up product by 2025. However, like you, I would like to hear a definite yes or no from target. Further, as thier toilet paper is white, they no doubt bleach it. I also believe it is made from wood pulp, rather than sugar cane or bamboo, making it less sustainable. Due to their commitment to remove PFAS and the fact that their sandwich bags do not have BPAs, I have high hopes that Target will up their toilet paper game down the road. Especially as a large mainstream company making this commitment would lower prices of environmental and user safe toilet paper everywhere. A: Paper products can come from sustainably maintained forest & "other controlled sources" and still be treated with chlorine and formaldehyde in the manufacturing process. Are these chemicals used?
