This thing was exactly what I was looking for in size and price. It’s great quality and is really well made. It is a beast that keeps giving and maintains ice like promised.

The cooler performed well over a three day weekend with moderate outside temperatures. We still had ice at the end of the weekend and had preconditioned the cooler before use. The lighter weight was helpful. The lid seal is not watertight. We leak tested the drain valves (some reviews mentioned improper gasket placement and leaks) and turned the cooler on its side where the lid leaked at the front of the cooler. We noticed the lid straps are snug but not tight, leaving a little bit of play between the lid and cooler body.

It was too big (my fault) and too heavy empty. I can only imagine how heavy it would have weighed.

I’ve been an RTIC fanatic for years. My sister has a Yeti and I love digging on hers. Mine was half the price but has all the bells and whistles!! I just need some shirts and hats to wear this summer on the new pontoon!

Love this cooler so much! Its light weight, pretty, and keep things cold for a long time. We took it to the smokey Mountains for a camping/ hiking trip. We pre cooled it the night before we left, then put frozen bottles in it instead of ice to avoid having water everywhere. It got warm outside and we opened the cooler at least 5-7 times a day. The frozen bottles lasted three days (till half frozen), then we added ice for the next few days. I love the top mesh part which is where I stored my salad greens. It was very nice getting off a trail with tempratures in the upper 80s and being able to have ice cold beverages and fruit as soon as we got to the car. This cooler was a game changer on our hiking/roadtripping/camping. In the evening we put the cooler in our tent to have acess to our stuff and it doubled as an end table.

I spent a lot of time researching coolers online. Bought this to replace a cheaper cooler that didn't keep things cold long on camping trips. I filled the cooler on Friday and there was still ice on Tuesday even after sitting in the heat. I even opened it outside in the hot sun to finish melting the ice and it still had some ice left after 6 hours in the sun. Best cooler I've ever owned. Can't recommend enough.

I purchased this for my husband for his birthday/father’s day gift. We already have multiple soft coolers but we were in need of a large one for the boat. This is comparable to yeti for a more manageable price. would always recommend.

This is my second to 52 patriot ultra light. I needed one more for my boat and it looks and works as great as the other.

Solid construction, light weight, holds ice for 4-7 days depending on weather, would buy again

Took our cooler camping for 4 days. Followed the use instructions and also used only ice packs and the ice packs were still completely frozen by the time we got home. Makes me feel a lot better about taking longer trips knowing we have a cooler that will keep food a safe temp the whole time.

Finally upgraded from an old hand me down cooler that my parents had since the early 00’s. This is a game changer, it was the perfect size for a two day car camping trip and I could still easily pick it up fully loaded with food and ice. Still had ice remaining at the end of the trip and it was opened frequently for meals and even ended up becoming the drink cooler. Wish I’d bought this sooner!

This was such a great purchase! The colors are great; the size is perfect; it is sturdy and light at the same time; and it has an amazing seal, which is great when you want to "rest your BBQ" after taking it off the grill and/or keeping drinks really cold! I will buy RTIC again! Forget the YETI and its higher prices--RTIC is EXACTLY what we needed!

The cheap plastic over the lid cracked almost immediately. Very upsetting for the amount of $ it cost.

The truth is, it's sad that it used to come with white ice packs, and now it doesn't even include that. When I started buying from you, the freezers came with baskets and ice packs, and now they don't come with anything. I currently have 12 coolers from you because I own a business and need quite a few. But now I'm starting to reconsider having to buy those extra things separately.

We travel on a regular basis. To save money and transport groceries, we load this up with what we need from home. Perfect size. Keeps food cold. Definitely worth the money.
