Oxidizes so bad!!
So I have been the same shade in foundation since high school, which is 112 in maybelline. It oxidized so bad it was like orange. There was a ring around my lips. You could see where it was like oxidizing and then where my actual skin was it was mortifying being in public like that.

I hate the new formula. The old one was my holy grail and was really special among all the drugstore options. It was matte with great coverage but it didn’t look drying or cakey…and it stayed all day even in Florida humidity without breaking apart. This new one is breaking apart on my face within an hour just being indoors. My face isn’t even as oily as it was when I was younger so I was a little shocked. So many foundations pander to this glowy trend now. Why couldn’t you leave one of the best matte formulas on the drugstore market for those of us who need it? The competitors don’t need as nice. So frustrated.

I have combo acne prone skin with some redness. Foundation always breaks down around my nose within a few hours and I am so impressed at the staying power this has. It lasts all day and looks the same. It is not matte- it has a real skin look to it and is so lightweight. My only complaint is I can’t find the perfect shade so mix two together- but this is probably best so I can adjust with a tan. 10/10!! I’m confused by the negative reviews about the old formula but never tried it to know.

It has been a while since the physicians formula healthy foundation since I really loved a drugstore foundation! Saw so many good reviews for this online and wanted to try. It exceeded my expectations: lightweight truly, not drying on my dry combo skin, and really high coverage. As a neutral Asian skin tone, it was still tricky to find the right shade for me. Shade 125 was the perfect neutral shade, just I can’t get myself to be that tan. I mix a lighter shade from L’Oréal true nude serum skin tint, and it’s the best combo. So glad to have foundation options that are excellent that are way more affordable. Compared to my high end ones, I couldn’t stop using this one also probably because I felt less guilty using cheaper bases, but they also just perform so well and consistently. I don’t want to take a long time to mess around with makeup on work days, and this just helps me look flawless with minimal effort during the week. Also lasts beyond my 10hr workday and commute. Highly recommend!!

This may be a good foundation for some people, however for the people that are used to the coverage and the matte finish of the other foundation this is awful. For someone with oily / acne prone skin this foundation looks greasy after 30 mins with no activity. I used to be able to wear the other foundation even in the sun and swimming, and it never flawed!

It looks good and is full coverage, but the lightest shade was still too dark for me. It also looked a little yellow, which may be because it's neutral. I'd need a 100 cool or something.

Unfortunately with makeup products you cannot return them. It’s very understandable since it’s a used product and I don’t blame anyone not wanting it back. After receiving it upon delivery, I noticed it had been tampered with and believe it was the last in stock for today. Cap removed, makeup stains on the outside, and with the cap removed, the purple seal was broken. It’s a great product don’t get me wrong, just preferred an unopened one.

Disappointing
I liked the old formula a lot better. After 2hrs of wear this foundation breaks and makes me look cakey. It also makes my skin flare up like crazy. Shade match was great through.

I DO NOT recommend.
Not the same formula and not oily/combination skin friendly. It’s just look good when you first applied it and then you’ll end up looking like a grease ball after a few hours. Lumi-Matte is NOT what Super Stay used to be and unfortunately it doesn’t offer the same full coverage that I used to get from the old formula. The old formula is my holy grail which is better than some high end brands but this New Lumi-Matte finish doesn’t even stay and my make up separates that causes my skin to breakout due to it being too oily. The new formula makes me look haggard by the end of the day so I tried to use the old formula and I look fresher even after work. Unfortunately, I will not be buying this again unless they bring back the old formula.
