    Handtruck/dolly doesn't work

    Disappointing! Handtruck/dolly doesn’t work — the fold out base doesn’t lock in place. Not worth $80 for a heavy stepladder without the dual function. Poor execution of a very cool idea. The handtruck/dolly half of this 2 in 1 just isn’t functional. There is no locking mechanism for the base plate that folds out. It extends to about a 110° angle, and I don’t trust it to stop there if I tried loading something heavy onto it — I think it might just break off, or warp at the connection point to the frame. The ladder itself is quite sturdy and the height I wanted (why oh why do they not include a measurement to the height of the top step, the most relevant part of ladder height?? — but I estimated based on the other measurements, and I was right that it’s tall enough), but verrrry heavy. There’s no rounding on the edges of the legs where they sit on the floor, so I’m concerned that it would scratch my hardwood floors if I stood on it and it jostled at all. (I am already being careful not to drag it anywhere.) I am contemplating a return. This ladder would have been worth the price and the weight and the risk of scratching my floors if it functioned as a handtruck/dolly as well, but it simply does not. I can get a sturdy, lightweight ladder of similar height for about half the price. I paid $80 for this one, and I’ve seen lightweight 3 step folding ladders for about $45.

    Great 2 in 1 product

    Comes assembled so super easy to use. The step ladder has three steps to easily reach high places and the hand cart makes it super easy to move heavy things. It transitions smoothly from one to the other. And folds pretty flat for easy storage.

    Light weight, sturdy and easy to use!

    I'm very happy with the extra height, operation and appearance of this 3 step stool. It's not heavy/easy to carry, average sturdiness for normal home uses. Easy to reach ceiling fans and light fixtures. Also easy to reach the top shelf and very top surface of 42\" kitchen cabinets. Wide steps are a plus also. It stores flat against the wall conveniently behind a door. Love this thing. Very useful and thoughtful design.

    This is a pretty handy step ladder and dolly. It\' made of mental, so it\'s very sturdy and not light. Easy to put together and use. Very convenient and space saver. Value for money.

    This hand truck ladder has been an incredibly useful tool for me when I recently moved into my new apartment. It made the process of moving heavy boxes so much easier and more efficient. Not only did it save me from straining my back, but it also allowed me to transport multiple boxes at once, saving time and energy. However, one aspect that could be improved upon is the weight of the ladder itself. As a girl who may not possess as much upper body strength as some others might have, I find it slightly challenging to maneuver the ladder around when it\'s not in use. Despite this minor inconvenience though, I recommend this hand truck ladder as an essential tool for anyone who frequently moves heavy objects or needs assistance with transporting bulky items during their daily activities.
