A: Yes, there is a zip pocket on the front panel. You can easily store a car key fob and cash in there. Phones fit but it might be tight.

A: No, you do not need an infant insert, which is one of the main reasons I bought this carrier (in addition to the fact that they're just awesome!). In the instruction manual that's included, it explains (with pictures) how to carry an infant and it's super easy. They even explain how to do it on your own so if you don't have someone else to help buckle you in, that's not a problem.

A: LILLEbaby COMPLETE carriers can be used from 7lbs to 45lbs and do not require an infant insert. With 6 carry positions, you can find the perfect one for your newborn.

A: I purchased this product specifically because you don't need an insert. Technically that is correct. However, the manual recommends you buy an insert for 0 to 2 months in order to provide the proper ergonomics for the hips. You can read this on their website as well. It's cheap, so not a big deal, but very misleading.

A: Yes you will for baby’s under ~3 months. I wish I knew this before purchasing.

A: Don't be concerned, it does not stain easily, in my experience. I've had my light gray (stone) one for over a year and looks brand new. I think the gray actually does a great job of "hiding" the dirt. I do take good care of mine - keep it hanging on a hook when not in use - but it has been on hikes, walks, lives in a house with dogs, and so on and looks great. My son hasn't spit up or anything like that on ours so I can't speak to that but I think you'll be pleased with the color.

A: Hello! Our carriers are not safety tested for wearing in water, and we cannot recommend that they be used in any shower, splash pad, or body of water.

A: The Complete Carrier’s waistband extends to 52 inches (a woman’s size 22/24). Waistband extenders are available to purchase separately that will extend the band by 9.5 inches. Appropriate for children from 7 – 45lbs

A: Hello! You can wash your carrier on gentle cycle in cool water using a detergent without optical brighteners. To wash, buckle all loose buckles and snap all snaps. Hang or lay flat your carrier to dry. Unbuckle the buckles and unsnap the snaps for drying.
